Mark Z. Danielewski's the Whalestoe Letters

This is a companion book to House of Leaves, obviously you should read HoL first. But this is a nice add on and does stand alone as an interesting study. Recommended.

I bought this because I'd enjoyed several titles on the 'Customers who bought this item also bought' list. It's a short, strange and clever, one-sided story of maternal love and a downward spiral into mental illness. Didn't think I was going to enjoy it at first but I did. A nice, but sad, change.
