Unifi is just the best and that's that.
what can I say... this stuff is just great! I mean from the packaging to the adoption, to all the control you have, it's fantastic. The ethernet lighting is really cool and useful, I made some of my own cables with clear ends and they light like the authentic cables. this was the best low cost option for my setup.- some advice, when you are shopping keep in mind the speeds you are going to want (2.5gb) and also how much power you are going to need for PoE cameras, APs and things like that before making the final purchase.

Great like most Ubiquiti equipment
If you’re buying this, you probably know the pluses and minuses of Ubiquiti equipment generally. While I had to return this switch, it wasn’t because it didn’t work flawlessly as intended. I ended up buying the non PoE version, and it serves as the heart of my home UniFi network. Great build quality, great materials, the electronics just work. Heat can build up, but not excessively. Love the ability to assign VLANs to each port, shut off those not in use. The colored LED backlights at each port help me quickly tell what’s plugged in.If you have a UniFi network, don’t hesitate buying this if you need it!

Positive and Negative
Really good switch so far. Be careful of which vendor you choose however, there are times when you can get a better deal at UI.com or the return process, if it comes to that, ends up costing the purchaser, which I find silly, but that's just me. The hardware is top notch, at least so far. I'm hoping it solves a power issue across my AP's so, fingers crossed.

Requires extra kit to rack mount
Great switch, but be aware... this is not rack-mountable out of the box. Product description states that it is with a double-asterisk, but nowhere is the double-asterisk defined. You actually have to buy a separate rack-mounting kit which will cost $150+ on Amazon, or under $50 if you buy direct from Unifi. I would have given 5 stars if that had been clearly stated.
