Risidamoy for iPhone 8 Screen Replacement with Home Button 4.7" Black for iPhone SE 2nd 2020 Screen Replacement

I bought this because I messed up the install on my first replacement. I decided to spend more and get a better product. First thing I wish to address are the tools. The tools are way better and magnetic. The cheaper set had horrible tools that were not magnetic and the Y tip gave me issues with the touch button screws. I also loved the two water proof tape seals. The cheap set I accidently ripped the only tape seal that came with set (not the reason for replacement) and I ended up doing the same with the first tape seal that I used on this one. I gave me some practice though and the second one went on smoothly. I like that the back plate was already installed as I forgot to swap it over the first time (the reason for second replacement). Everything works. There are no spots. I did swap over the finger button from the original and kind of wished this one had some tape or glue to hold the strip down like the original, but I can live with that issue as the button is secured in with the metal strip.

I don’t normally do reviews, unless something is really bad or really good. In this case, the product exceeded my expectations. The kit included many extras that other screen kits does not. I ordered the kit with the built in speaker and home button because my sons screen broke and the cables were ripped. Speaker, front camera and all other functions work as expected. The fingerprint reader does not work, but that is clearly described in the product info. (Fingerprint reader is tied to the phone, only way to get it working is to transfer from the original screen to this, which was too much work for me).Home button works like a normal home button now, but without fingerprint to open.The only downside, which I think is common for any aftermarket (non-apple) screen is that the screen is a bit thicker than OEM screen. This was not a surprise for me, so I’m still giving 5 stars.The kit included two screen protectors, extra screws, two gasket seals and a bunch of other helpful tools. Even a magnetic mat with a picture of the phone, so you can track what screw hole the screw was from. Excellent!Thanks for the well thought out product! I highly recommend this!

Its fine that the TouchID doesn’t work but the screen itself is also barely workable. Phone is now overheating and barely recognizing any touch interactions.

It works as advertised, front facing camera works on my SE 2020, home button works but touch ID passcode can't activate. Pictures are good. I've only been using it for a few hours, not sure how long it will last.... status will be updated.

I have been changing screens for a very long time and this kit really did it for me. I swapped out for the original home button but the toolsmade me feel like a professional. Thanks a lot!
