a really good chair - very stable and strong when assembled. it looks nice, and feels comfortable. the only reason i'm giving it four stars instead of the five which it deserves is that i couldn't, finally, get one of the bolts to work. it was the bolt which holds the back of the seat to the upright arm-piece: everything else, except for the seat back, is secured by screws, all of which were perfectly drilled and located. but the seat back used bolts, plus little securing nubs into which the bolt end has to go. however, it didn't... at least, it did on one side, but not on the other - i think the hole was drilled slightly askew, so the bolt and the nub end didn't meet perfectly; bolts can be cussed, that way. i managed to cobble together a replacement, using a bolt with a sharp end, which screwed into the nub - probably damaging it, but since it's there to stay, i don't care; easier than packaging the whole thing up again and sending it back. but i would've easily given it five stars if that one bolt had worked.five years later...just bought a second one, and this one had all its bolts and screws in the right place, so i've added the extra star.it's a really good, sturdy and great-looking chair. the one we bought five years ago is still going strong - no splits; but we needed a second one.really impressed by the quality of this beautiful garden chair. it now belongs to the cat.

I ordered two of these and Im really pleased with them. They are well made beautifully stained strong comfortable chairs. They come well boxed and were easy enough to put together although the instructions were awful. Just one picture showing where all the bits go but no sequence for putting it together. My advice would be to erect the sides to the seat supports then fit the seat and back taking care not to tighten all the screws until its all in position....and use a drill bit - the fittings are tight and doing it by hand is a killer. Took me about 30 mins to put 2 chairs together. However ignoring this the chairs are beautiful and will give us many years of use and look great in the garden. They need oiling every year but not the first year as per the instructions. Very happy customer.

I am delighted with the two chairs I bought in this style. Comfortable, light and fabulous value for money. Recommended for any garden.

It looks good in the garden and in the kitchen dinining area indoors. Quick & Easy to assemble. Very good garden dining chair but not one that you can fall asleep in whilst lounging in the garden as it is quite upright. May require both a seat and back cushion to make it a little more comfortable.

Bought 2 of these for the balcony of our holiday caravan. The products came well packed and I was impressed with the quality (No scratches, chips, splits or missing parts. Assembly was easy. The fixings are identified by a number on the instruction sheet and the exploded diagram shows where each fixing goes. I think its best not to fully tighten fixings until they are all in place, then place chair on a level surface for final tightening. They look good on the balcony and have a generous seat width. Just waiting now for some sunshine so we can enjoy using them.

These chairs are attractive and easy to assemble. However I was not impressed by the finish as several edges were rough and splintery and we even found splits in the wood were the screws had to go as the holes had been drilled without much care for the integrity of the chair as a whole. I would love to find a more generous chair for my larger than average friends, a 24" seat would be far more comfortable so have compromised by getting a bench to go one side of the table,

I ordered 2 chairs and the folding table. They were delivered earlier than expected and very easy to assemble. They look good and appear comfortable. They are sturdy and very good value for money. I've certainly seen less stylish chairs of inferior quality costing much more. I'm looking forward to many years of use if the sun shines!

This is a very stylish chair and looks really good in the garden. It was easy to put together following the instructions provided. It is a solid piece of furniture and is very accommodating for the larger person. It is great value and looks more expensive than it is. A quality product and I would use this firm again as I am delighted with their service and product.
