Hoax Board Game

This is a very fun game for when you have a few people around, fairly simple to learn and quick to play. I'd say the average game takes around 15mins from start to finish.The game comes in a very small box and there are not a lot of components so setting up and clearing away is very quick indeed, ideal for when you have a spare 30mins and fancy a game of something.We often found ourselves laughing as we played through this game, I am already looking forward to playing it again.

Really nice game and easy to learn. Up to 6 can play it, so it's nice when having friends over. The games are rather quick, but the players that are kicked out early can get bored by the time the others finish the game.

Hilariously fast paced game of BS. Once you grasp the concept of the game it only takes about 10 minutes to play. Really fun, hard to master!

Es como un coup pero sin lo divertido :( con un resto de reglas y personajes que para aprenderlos tienes que estudiarlos. No es un juego que te pongas a jugar luego luego de abrirlo. Le quisieron echar mucha cremita a sus tacos pues. El resultado, un juego con muchas reglas presuntuosas, reglas que siempre se olvidan o monerías que simplemente se sienten de más, que sobra vaya. Nunca había sentido algo así de un juego de mesa, pero este tristemente se lleva ese premio de título innecesario en cuanto reglas y algunos compononentes.Y si de plano te animas a comprarlo, ya te digo que son como 8 personajes los cuales debes aprender qué hacen y luego igual aprenderse sus counters. Es un juego que primero tienes que estudiar y decirle a tus amigos ey, lean esto y aprendan las habilidades para que en 30 minutos podamos jugar xD

Partiamo dal presupposto che Coup è un capolavoro e che prima di giocare a Hoax è meglio aver giocato a Coup un po' di volte. Hoax rispetto a Coup ha qualche regola in più e l'eliminazione dei giocatori è più lenta... Che dire è bello, ma sicuramente in più giocatori, mentre Coup è anche stupendo in 3... non lo so, non mi ha deluso e la produzione è molto bella, ma non mi sorprende visto che è FFG, il prezzo forse un po' altino, poteva essere a 15-16 euro, ma non sono quei 4 che fanno la differenza... Giocate a Coup, se volete un po' più di profondità acquistate Hoax e mi direte :)

It was a fun game to play with the family. Pretty quick rounds, so we were able to play it a bunch of times.

Small box, but this game is a ton of fun! The game forces you to do a certain amount of bluffing, if you play honestly the whole game, you'll get found out quick. The balance between playing too obvious and making wild, reckless bluffs is a good one.
