This works great on my MacBook Air. It is an easy plug and play. The one thing that does not work with it is my Apple CD Drive, which is disappointing. It is USB but the laptop will not recognize it when plugged in. That's my only complaint about it.

Works great! My new computer has just one port but I have a few things that need to plug in, including my monitor. This puts all my cords into one and I can easily switch devices easily and plug everything in one shot. Love it!

This works on the MacBook Air (M1, 2020). The device is actually smaller than I expected but that's probably good as its lightweight. It's simple to use: just plug it in and it's ready to go. (A little blue light comes on to tell you the power is on.)I bought this so I could access files from a SanDisk Cruzer Glide USB Flash Drive (I looked it up and it's 2.0. This device has ports for 2.0 and 3.0 USBs). I also like that it has two slots for memory cards. The only thing is this didn't recognize a Memory Stick ProDuo from an old Sony digital camera that I had laying around. The slot was too wide for it. It would've been a cool bonus to have that work.You can also hook this up to your smart TV via a HDMI cable (not included). I still haven't hooked it up, however, as I have a bunch of stuff connected to the TV already and haven't had the time to mess around with it back there.Also, once I plugged in the USB it worked pretty fast and smooth.Hope this helps.

UPDATE 10/23/2024:After posting the initial review, I was contacted by the seller and was offered a full refund without having to return the item. I requested for a replacement instead and they are sending one. I will post another update upon receipt and trial of the replacement.Purchased in Jan 2024 and worked as designed. I use it for teaching and professional purposes connecting the adaptor to a projector via HDMI and shoot tethered to photography software all at the same time. Approximately 7 months after purchase, I noticed that one USB port would not work consistently, and more recently, when connecting via HDMI, my laptop OS freezes (spinning ball) until I disconnect.

We connected the docking - from the package to the Mac - in under a minute, and it worked beautifully. It has more port connections than we'll likely need, but you never know.My only criticism is it's overly packaged for my minimalist preference. Otherwise, no complaints.

Tut was es tun soll ohne Probleme. Besonders gut finde ich auch das längere Kabel des Adapters, dass macht es beim Anschließen einfacher. Ich benutze es v.a. für die Uni, um mein MacBook Air mit den Bildschirmen zu verbinden. Dafür brauche ich eigentlich nur HDMI. Da das MacBook allerdings auch keine USB Anschlüsse mehr hat, ist der Adapter auch dafür gut geeignet.Der Grund warum diesen gewählt habe waren auch die Karten-Slots. Falls ich Daten in Form von Fotos etc. auf meinen Computer laden will kann ich das nun damit machen. Das habe ich allerdings noch nicht probiert.Der Adapteranschluss (USB-C) sitzt angenehm fest im Computer und wackelt nicht. Das Kabel wirkt auch gut verarbeitet und sehr hochwertig. Das Gehäuse ist vermutlich aus Aluminium - aber definitiv kein Plastik.Ich kann das Gerät bisher sehr empfehlen.

Nu kun je alles aansluiten aan je Mac book om fatsoenlijk te kunnen werken. Goede uitbreiding
