I bought these to take to our beach house while on vacation so my granddaughter can make her own colored sand right on the beach. We're gonna let her get as messy as she wants playing and filling these making all kinds of cool sand colors she can fill them with and take back for each of her little friends when she goes back home.They arrived super fast, nicely boxed and seemed super sturdy and durable for little plastic containers. I was kind of impressed with the screw cap lid on these things. Screws on and off very tightly so this is a nice feature especially if you don't want colored sand trails leaking all over your house. Lol I think these are exactly what we needed for the kidos to use cause it will hold up after all of their hard playing crafting these with the sturdy thick platic they are made from. These are a winner in my book and will definitely be ordering more in other shapes for next year! Love these!

I made these with my fourth graders on flag day! The opening was about the same size as the funnels I bought, but it worked out well. I will say some of the tops didn’t screw on as tight as I would have liked, but no one’s necklace fell apart. For reference- each star holds about 2 ounces of sand. (I was looking for this info when planning my project and couldn’t find it)

I got these star sand containers to use as Christmas tree ornaments. My grandchildren filled them with different sand colors in layers and when tightly closed with a dab or 2 of glue, my granddaughter immediately put it around her neck. If used with the bottles of sand with narrow, pointy dispensing tops there is no mess to clean up. Perfect size for a child's sand art necklace, shorten the cord and hang from the Christmas tree. Whatever you choose to do, it will will work for you. I gave it a 4 for giftable because i wouldn't give this as a gift as I got it. I would use it as a gift after crafting and I am sure you could find other uses as well.

The 8 year old students loved them. Seemed small though and could be bigger but had a hard time finding anything so went with this one…would probably buy it again

They were easy to use for our preschool friends. They filled them with sand using small bottles. They came out cute.

Excellent project. My kids loved this. There was not a funnel included so make sure you already have something to put the sand in. But great product!

These were great for a kids craft but 3 out of the pack were broken and unusable.
