No way can you remove half the ice cream from this blade before it melts.
No way can you remove half the ice cream from this mixer before it melts. Possibly a great mixer for paint - but NOT for ice cream!

Perfect ice cream!
The blade is designed to mix the cream thoroughly as to not leave clumps. It does an amazing job! restaurant quality ice cream at home. Opposed to the other review I have no trouble cleaning this blade with a silicone spatula in under a minute. Having the dexterity And patience of an adult certainly helps.

Awesome Ice Cream Maker and great price!
This ice cream maker is a great investment if you spend a lot of money on ice cream, plus you can make your own ice cream with healthier ingredients and without all the preservatives and chemicals they add these days. The machine itself is smaller than other Whynter units, which is one of the reasons I bought it since my kitchen it’s small. You can make ice cream in just 60 minutes without having to freeze the bowl. You just prepare the mix, add the mix to the bowl , press the button for ice cream and it gets done in 60 min. The amount of ice cream you make it’s more than enough for 3 or 4 people each time, maybe more depending on how many ice cream scoops each person wants. The ice cream was delicious and creamy. And I’m very happy about my purchase. The only negative thing about this machine is the design of the mixing blade. And this is based on my own experience and is my opinion! The design of the blade makes it difficult to remove all the ice cream in a timely manner before the ice cream starts melting and making a mess. Other than that, this machine it’s easy to use, comes with a recipe book and the ice cream you can make taste amazing. I hope my experience can help you make a better informed decision when shopping for an ice cream maker.
