The BEST keyboard on the planet!
I've had this since pre-ordering it in 2018. It was a nice step up from the 400 model prior to 18. They re-recorded the grand piano sample differently this time by having 2 microphones in the ear holes of a fake human dummy placed in the seat so huuuuge difference then prior years now it blows away every other keyboard and they switched to a better lcd screen white now not blue which can be seen at wider angles then the blue. This keyboards grand piano sounds better then the 600 series clavinova electric pianos up till 2020 which are $3500! The 2021 745 and 785 sound better finally now though then this keyboard. But think about that! This $450 keyboard sounds better than a $3500 piano up until 2021. now they resampled additional pianos and added them to the 735 745 785 clavinovos and they 100 watts now higher them this keyboard but wayyy more money.Conclusion:Buy this NOW. Do NOT buy a Casio they sound awful. Do NOT buy a no name keyboard or piano ever. All piano teachers say to buy the best keyboard or piano you can afford as it helps the student "want" to play more and enjoy himself to stick with practicing. Yamaha and Rolland are the BEST keyboards, all the rest are so far below and sound super cheap.. Yamaha and Kawai are the real pianos that I view as the best also (in my non super rich budget) Buy this keyboard ever for a beginner he'll grow into it.I am a classical trained pianist and I learned the entire time on a Casio which I hated them a Yamaha which I loved and now as an adult with 14 years experience playing I played on this until this month when I finally purchased a Yamaha upright electric piano the CLP-745 for 4k. Which sounds just a tiny bit better. The memories I've had playing this keyboard will forever be with me. Thank you Yamaha!

Great value. Very good for learning.
Very versatile. Lots of effects. Action could be better, but probably not at this price point.

Fantastic !!!!!
Fantastic sound, is easy to learn, tons of features. I haven't been able to play in about 10 years. This keyboard took me to a place I didn't think I could go again (I'm 75). Thank you so much.Bill channellAuburn Maine

A+++
It's sometimes difficult to buy a product like a keyboard on line. Reviews and demos on youtube don't really give you the "feel" on an instrument. However, the price on this arranger was in line with what I wanted to spend for an extended (76 key) midi capable device. The keys have a nice "organ" touch to them. They are not weighted in any way that I can perceive, but the spring tension on the key return is not too heavy and the keys respond well to chording and my limited ability in producing arpeggios.So far, I'm impressed with the voicings. The pianos, organs, winds and strings meet or exceed my expectations. I particularly like the sax. The "groove" capabilities are pretty interesting and definitely suitable for trance/edm/house use.I haven't had time to really put this device through its paces, but my preliminary playing on it suggests that I made a good decision. I'll update the review as warranted.

Great beginner keyboard.
My 7 yo stared lessons a few weeks ago and has a great time with this keyboard. He uses the standard piano sounds for practice, while occasionally playing around with the other sounds just for fun.In fact the whole family can be found at various times practicing his lesson books, or just having fun time.Yamaha products are always spot on.

Nice little keyboard!
Nice keyboard. I like the touch and the sounds are great. It’s not just for beginners. I’ll definitely use this for smaller gigs.

Nice keyboard loaded with features
Nice keyboard loaded with features. Top of the line beginner keyboard with enough features and flexibility to carry you to the intermediate stage. Delivery was faster than promised and the package arrived undamaged. Did lots of research before I purchased this and I am very happy with the keyboard.
