This is my first range finder and I am quite happy with it. It is easy to use and with the LCD display very easy to read. The grip and feel in my hand is very comfortable. This being my first one I can't really compare it to others but for me it works great and I am happy that I got it.

First, this is not that much savings over a Bushnell. I like this gadget quite a bit, but it's not going to measure up to a Bushnell, Halo, etc.Also, I wish it was rechargeable. The entry level Bushnells aren't rechargeable either, but I've seen generic brand rechargeable rangefinders for cheaper than this unit. So I would suggest doing some research before making a decision.This says hunting in the title, but it's clearly made for golf. It locks onto the flag/pin, the slope functions seem specifically for golf. If looking for a versatile tool that can also be used for hunting, you may benefit from looking around a little bit. If I had it to do over again, I would probably have gotten a camo color that was also rechargeable.As for the device itself, I like it a lot. This is an undeniably great tool. Even though it's made for golf, you can still use it in other sports, hiking, nature watching, etc.It has an auto shutoff after 16 seconds, though I measure it at 13-14 seconds. In my opinion it shuts off too fast, especially if you're trying to analyze a slope. There's no way to adjust the auto shutoff, although there is a continuous mode.The icons in the viewfinder lens are pretty small, and the screen on the side is fairly dim. It's not backlit. This is not at all unique to this model, it's a common issue with most of these range finders. If you don't want to deal with these issues, then again, check into a name brand like Bushnell.I'm pretty sure that the slope compensation is illegal in golf. I'm not a tournament player so I don't care, but if you're a serious golfer you may want to look more closely at the functions and make sure this isn't breaking the rules.This includes a nice sturdy case with strap and carabiner.

I have different kind of rangefinder, and mostly I use them for shooting and hunting, but never seen one with the external screen before. So, this device is really accurate since I measured the distance with 3 more rangefinders, and they all were the same. In addition, whatever you see from the lens, it appears on the external screen as well, and you have choice to turn it on/off. But, My problem with this device is being battery operated and nowadays, everything is almost rechargeable, why this rangefinder which has an extra screen has to be worked with a small battery! In my opinion, this device needs a built-in battery which is rechargeable.

I like how this range finder works and I like that I can see well thru it with my glasses on. I especially like the external side display so I can easily double check what I saw in the viewfinder a few seconds later. This unit is powered by a #123 digital camera battery (included) and it comes with a nice hard case, wrist strap, and lens cleaning cloth. It seems to be accurate compared to another rangefinder a friend has. The visual is clear and the eyepiece rotates to focus the image, it also vibrates when it locks in on a flagstick. I like this rangefinder a lot!

This is an amazing rangefinder. It has every option you would look for in a rangefinder and more. This is probably the first one. I've seen that has a display screen on the outside. The precision is spot on and the site is very clear. If I have to find one thing that would make this even better, it would be a magnet to adhere to the golf cart. But that's just being picky.
