No, the answer is 100% NO, it comes "sharp" but you asked "very sharp" which it 100% is not very sharp. I could write a paragraph about this topic, stay away from anyone that tells you, "duh, well, umm, it's not razor sharp." if to them sharp is razor like one level they are not who you should be taking advice from there are arguably 3 to 5 levels of sharpness/honed starting from "sharp", I'm not including dull or less than sharp, this is sharp, very sharp would be the next level, razor sharp which applies to razor would be one or two level past sword "very sharp".
