TSA Approved Gun Case Locks
I recently started using the TSA Approved Gun Case Locks, and they have proven to be a versatile addition to my security needs. Although I primarily use them for regular TSA locks during travel, it's reassuring to know that they can also secure a gun case as described in their specifications. These locks come in a pack of two and feature a 4-digit combination system, which provides a higher level of security compared to standard 3-digit locks. Setting and resetting the combination is straightforward, allowing me to customize it for added security. The sturdy construction ensures that the locks are durable and capable of withstanding rough handling, whether during air travel or other forms of transportation. One of the most appealing aspects of these locks is their TSA approval. This means that TSA agents can open and relock them without damaging the locks or my luggage, ensuring smooth inspections and peace of mind. This feature is especially valuable for frequent travelers like me who need reliable security for their belongings. While I use these locks mainly for securing my luggage, I appreciate their versatility. Knowing that they can also be used on a gun case adds an extra layer of confidence in their strength and reliability. The compact size makes them easy to handle and attach to various types of cases, including firearm carrying hard cases. In summary, the TSA Approved Gun Case Locks offer a versatile and secure solution for both travel and firearm storage needs. Their robust construction, 4-digit combination, and TSA approval make them a practical choice for ensuring the safety of your belongings, whether you're traveling with luggage or securing a gun case.

Good Locks
These are TSA approved locks that you can use for any luggage, not just gun case as the title of the item implies. It looks and feels heavy duty. So that's good. It does weight a bit, so keep that in mind when packing with this. Also note that these have rigid shackle. Flexible shackle locks are also available on Amazon, if that's better for you application.

Just Eactly What I Wanted at a Good Price
At the twofer price, these are a good choice, especially good for travel gun cases. These fit my ABS home and travel case, which uses two locks, one per latch. Four digit combination means I don't have to worry about teens getting inside the case if I'm not home. They won't stop a thief from stealing the case can a quick snip with bolt cutters. But that's not what I got them for, and not really what their primary purpose is. If you travel by commercial air, you are required to place any firearm unloaded (with any ammo stored separately along with the weapon) in a locked case with a TSA approved lock. And that's the main use. But as I mentioned, at home if you have kids, you should keep a firearm in a case that is locked. If you want quick access, you can easily set your own combination numbers, and then lock it, and just flip one drum number up or down that you know is the one that is a click away from opening. But only you know which one to rotate a notch.Do pay attention to the hasp diameter. These are for small firearm cases with small lock hasp holes. If you want a beefier lock, and you rifle or other case can use that, this is probably not the lock you want. For me, it is perfect, it is TSA Approved, easy to set my own combination(s), all metal construction, and at $8.50/each when I order the pair the price is right.

Good light duty locks
LAFENLIN 2 Pack TSA Approved Gun Case Locks These locks are good quality for their size and price. They qualify for TSA travel, and as locks for weapon transportation in California. They are not meant for high security needs, but they are excellent for light use around the house, and are adequate for use at the gymnasium. They are secure enough to prevent crimes of opportunity. The combination setting mechanism is standard for locks of this type, and functioned with no problems. The number wheels rotate smoothly, and stay in place after moving. The quality of this pair of locks is on the high side when compared to other locks in the price range, especially when buying the pair. I would recommend this pair of LAFENLIN locks for build quality, and value for money. They are good light demand locks.

LOCKS OKAY, GOOD FOR LIGHT DUTY, A LITTLE HARD TO READ THE NUMBERS ON THE DIALS
LAFENLIN - 2 Pack, TSA Approved Gun Case Locks, 4 Digit Combination Locks - It's easy to reset the combination and once set, the locks operated as the instructions state. You can only re-insert the hasp to lock it when the numbers are set to the combination. Otherwise, the hasp will not drop into the lock body. There is no sound or feel when the lock is set. The one negative I had was that the numbers on the dials are not painted, and I found it hard to read the numbers. Sure, easy solution, just add some nail polish or paint to the numbers. These are definitely light duty and I would say, only meant to deter the casual miscreant. They do however, achieve the goal of securing a gun case for legal transportation of firearms and ammunition.
