This was a great set with the basic colors. The acrylic comes out of the tip just fine without having to press the tip for ink. Just shake and color. These are full color markers so mixing colors doesn't quite work. These are great if you're just messing around or using for hobby art.

No need to get the ink into the tip, it's all ready to go. Easy to use, works well, nice flow of ink. Just remember to shake them every time.

We are new to paint markers (my daughter mostly uses a variety of pencils, oil pastels, gel pens, etc.). These are fantastic. While it seemed like detail would be difficult, she figured it out in short order (see photo). One has to be careful with the brush tip; it is not like using a sharpie and not indestructible. Putting the cap on the base of the marker (like one might for a pen) is not a good idea because paint may transfer, and then the bottom of the marker could get paint on anything it touches. The markers must be shaken before use. Even if you use the marker and put it down for 5-10 minutes it may start to separate and must be shaken again to get the exact same coloration (see pictures 2-3, hard to see but shows color separating). So far we have just used on paper (the markers did not bleed through your average sheet of paper), and my daughter is excited to test these out on other materials. The colors blended well. Overall, this is a great set and very fun method for drawing, making cards, and so many other possibilities.

We got these pens for our daughter who is always looking for ways to be creative. She really enjoys painting on rocks with these paint markers. The markers are easy to control and leave a smooth, even flow of paint. The colors are vibrant and this set offers many to choose from. These would make a nice, inexpensive gift for an aspiring artist.Recommended.

The brush tip on these paint markers make it feel like you’re really using a paintbrush. It’s so satisfying and always flowing when you need it to. There’s no transition time of getting it started it just works the second you take the cap off. The colors are unique and not just your average set. They’re more intentional and quite beautiful. They go on nice and smooth with one thin layer that has very high coverage and high pigment. I couldn’t be more pleased with these and I very highly recommend them.

This is a nice set of paint markers for a hobbyist. The colors are easy to use. The paint flows smoothly from the brush tip. The tip is flexible, making it easy to get a variable line. I think this would be a great set for rock painting or a similar hobby.I only gave a three star recommendation because for a couple of reasons: the purple pen leaked within the cap after the first use and my fingertip is now purple and the ink is not opaque (you cannot use yellow over blue - it doesn’t cover well). These are definitely not artist quality, but the price isn’t either. If you are looking for a set of pens for a fun quick craft, these are great.

I’ve tried different permanent markers, and they just haven’t done the job, so I thought I’d give these a try. I have a whole lot of tools that are in different cases. Sometimes I forget what’s in which case, so I wanted to write on the outside to identify the tools in the case. I marked a number of cases in different colors today and these worked way better than markers. I didn’t bother cleaning dust and debris off the cases because I wanted to see how the markers would handle it. They worked like a champ, wrote right through the dust and dirt and was very visible. If you need paint pens for your garage, I recommend these.
