A useful item
Much better than a block socket or trailing socket. Nice if there were a white one at the deal price. Would buy more if cheaper.

A bit odd but works.
Having an extension plug at this orientation is a bit unusual and I'm sure it will help out if you have a single socket in an awkward place or can't fit some PSU in with other plugs. The issue I had was with the on/off switches on the side. They are not vwey positive in operation and one even stuck when I tried to use it. The £16 asking price would be justified if this was of sturdier construction, had surge protection, the switches were better or just had a couple of USB sockets on the top.

Useful plug adapter
I ordered this plug extension socket specifically for our Christmas tree lights, as I find trailing extensions can look quite messy around the tree. This extension socket seemed like the perfect solution! The adapter plugs into a standard UK socket and offers three additional plug sockets, each with its own illuminated power on/off button. I found it very easy to use, and the illuminated switches were particularly handy in the dark. However, the lights aren’t quite bright enough to indicate whether the socket is on or off during daylight, which is a minor drawback.I like that the individual switches help to save energy when certain plugs aren’t in use. It’s worth noting that this extension works best in a single socket or the right-hand side of a twin wall socket, as the plug cables can obstruct access to the other socket.Overall, this seems to be a good quality product, and it worked perfectly for testing our Christmas tree lights. Ideal for seasonal use or general household needs!

Nicely made socket with a lot of safety features
This is a very compact and neat black expension unit with three standard UK sockets, each of which is switched.Moving the switches off from the face of the unit means that they were able to reduce its overall size quite noticably, and also able to locate each switch centrally over its socket, which is good. However, the lights on the push-switches are actually not that bright, to the point that for a few days I didn't even notice them. It was only when I was switching the enture socket off one night, with the main room light already off, that I realized that they actually do have lights! So maybe a bit brighter on the switches, fro clarity, please!I am impressed by how small they've kept this socket though, as it doesn't foul its neigbour at all. I also like the screw set into the back which you can adjust by hand to sit pressed against hte wall like a little 'foot', to stabilize the whole unit when you're pushihng plugs in. so that the unitThere are also a full set of safety markings cast into the surface of this extension, as well as clear wording stating that the maximum load across all the sockets is 13A (max load 3250w), and inside is what looks like a good quality 13A fuse. The manufacturer also states that the unit has a fire-retardent case, which is good.In all then, this is a well packaged item which feels of good quality. When I tried it on the low-level sockets in my Victorian house, this unit was a little too long (you have 14cm between the bottom of the lower pins and the bottom of the extension as a whole). Unfortunately it would have fallen afoul of the huge tall skirting boards, but I actually wanted this for use in the utility, where it sat neatly in a surface-height socket. So I'd say in the right place, this is a pretty good socket.

-ˏˋ. Space saving ˊˎ-
──────────‧₊˚ 🔌 My Experience 🔌 ‧₊──────────👍 SPACE-SAVING: The vertical design of this 3-outlet plug extender is unique from others in which you can rotate the socket 90 degrees. This is helpful, allowing for more flexibility in cable management. I will be using it for my kitchen, where outlets are limited and I need to minimise clutter.🔀 INDIVIDUAL SWITCHES: I love the individual switches for each outlet, each one is illuminated with blue light when in use.🔒 SAFETY FEATURES: This adapter has a standard built-in 13A fuse, overload protection, and a fire-retardant casing rated up to 1382°F.📏 STABILISING SCREW: One of the standout features of this adapter is the stabilising screw, which I haven't seen on many models on the market. It eliminates wobbling and ensures a stable and secure fit, which is useful with heavier plugs.──────────‧₊˚ 💭 Room for Improvement 💭 ‧₊──────────🔌 NO USB PORTS: I expect this feature to be standard in modern adapters and would honestly gladly pay more for a version with integrated USB ports. In summary, the Mscien Plug Adapter is a straightforward and reliable solution to expanding your outlet capacity. It saves space, has individual switches and safety features. However, the lack of USB ports, whether Type A or Type C, feel like a significant omission in today's market. If this isn't an issue for you however, then this adapter is a solid choice.
