I was a little apprehensive to buy this since a few people mentioned theirs had a weird smell. I got the basic green one, and I really don't understand why people were complaining. I love this blanket! It smells nice - clean with a gentle, subtle wool scent. It's 100% wool and has the cleaning instructions on it. It's thinner than what I was expecting, but it's actually surprisingly warm. I put it down on my bed and lay on top of one side while pulling the rest over me, and I'm all kinds of toasty at night. I'll probably get a second one to have a double layer for nights it gets extra cold, but yeah, I love this thing. The only problem is since it's wool, it has special washing and drying requirements, but to me it's worth it.

I bought this specifically for my dog and his bedding. I wanted something that had a higher frequency than the microfiber (plastic) dead blanket. This one seemed to fit the need perfectly. It will be warm in the winter and keep him cool during the summer. I’m very pleased with the quality. After one washing to remove the odor of dog, it retained its shape and durability. We have a top load machine without the center agitator, so it works great getting the blanket clean but not damaging the fibers.

100% wool so it's great to have on hand while camping. I hand washed the blanket and layed it flat out in the sun. It shed like crazy the first time and had a very strong wool hair scent so I washed it again and it went away. I used grangers wool detergent with cedar oil to clean it. The leather strap system is nice for rolling it back up and stowing it away.

I'd give this blanket 6 stars if I could! **SPECIFICALLY THE BEIGE AND BLACK & WHITE ONES**. Absolutely surpassed my expectations and more. For the price, it is a steal!! These blankets are absolutely great quality and can pretty much be used out of the bag. I got a beige one with zero smell, but the black and white smelled terrible at first, so I washed and aired it out. Smells better now. They're beautifully woven and they're actually SOFT for wool and very comfortable! Amazing quality 100% wool blankets. I cannot say the same however, for the green one (and maybe the other solid colored ones). I don't know what it is, but the green one was nothing like the black & white or beige one. It stunk SO bad, and the wool was so COURSE, and shed like crazy. Completely sub par quality in comparison with the beige and black/white ones. I had to return the green one but the multi-colored, slightly more expensive ones are worth every penny! Thank you Molithe!

I am leaving a 4 star because the shedding never ends, but great warm non toxic blanket

Very warm, really soft and perfect size. When I opened it, it smelled a little like chemicals but after a quick wash it was gone. The leather straps work well once you learn how to do it and feel like decent quality leather but time will tell.

Great affordable option for a pure wool blanket. There is a slight wool smell (to be expected) so I let it air out outside and that helped a lot. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a pure wool blanket that is budget friendly.
