Excellent workbench.
First I want to comment on those who have commented upon the lack of clear instructions and therefore difficulty of assembly. In my view if you take the time to first identify the components and link them to the diagrams in the 'instructions' the matter is very straightforward. And for those who say it takes two to assemble, I say not so. And to prove the point I assembled the bench in under 45 minutes using ONE hand! (Actually not to prove the point; I only have one hand.)My advice would be to assemble the two ends first. If you lay the components on a flat surface and tap them together with a rubber mallet, it becomes dead simple. A point to note is that it is important to engage the slightly longer 'upper' tab before tapping into place. Once you have assembled the ends, assembly of the front and back supports is easy. Again lay the the upper, then the lower supports on a flat surface (e.g. floor) and tap the sides into place. With three sides complete the bench can be stood upright and the remain two side supports tapped into place.I must admit the central cross supports were a bit fiddly, but as long as you ensure the tabs are tapped fully home before securing them by bending, there's no problem. Although the resultant frame is quite robust, there's a degree of 'torsional' flexibility, however this is quickly rectified when the two selves are put in place, that is so long as you locate the bench on a flat floor. If you don't, whilst the shelves will remain flat the frame might still have some 'torsional' flexibility. If you haven't got a flat floor you will need to put spacers under the (non-adjustable) feet until level. An easy way to judge this is to ensure the shelves sit evenly into the lips of the frame. Finally, if you are going to mount a multi angle hobby vice make sure it will fit first! My Stanley (183069) didn't because of the depth of the frame. I overcame this by mounting a simple extension to the shelf. I'm very pleased with the end result.

Does what it says on the....er...
Simple to put up even for one-person, though DO re-check that your corners are all still in properly immediately before adding the chipboard.Sturdy, just the right size in the garage, all exactly what you expect. Can't attach a vice, but I won't mark the bench down for my vice's fitting.Good kit, if you need one, just get it.

product is overall a good buy
The product is a good buy overall. It does take a bit of effort and persistence to assemble it. It is quite sturdy once put together. Some of the edges are a bit sharp but OK once the job is finished. Be careful as you build it. Disassemble the chipboard top very carefully and gently or you will damage the surface. Once it is in place it should be OK. Put a plastic cover on top of it if you plan to put heavy objects on the top.

Rubbish
Rubbish, takes the weight but parts buckle easily, only locks into place with weight on it so if you try to pick it up or move it comes apart.Disappointing for the cost.

Good everyday workbench
Easy to put together and what I wanted, it has limitations like you cant screw or clamp things on it but I knew that in advance..Its functioning fine and doing what IO want it to do.Delivery was prompt.

Sturdy and well supported shelves
Was worried that the shelves may bend BUT, supported all around the edges and also two bars from front to back.Hopefully the shelf won't split apart when damp as it is in a garden shed, but if necessary I could get a replacement in the years to come. Very pleased with the sturdiness.I had wished it was screwed together. Takes a little time to align the parts into the slots and had to bend a few just to make things easier. Impossible to describe on here but it was a one man job and I am VERY pleased with the result.
