I like this sort of travel adapter for both travel and at home for the multiple usb ports they have. I also had trouble with a US only adapter recently that ran dangerously hot and haven't had that problem with travel adapters - including this one. I have stressed it very hard, but I did charge two things at once, both of which are somewhat power hungry. It barely increased in temperature at all.I like how this one handles the Australia plug - as a whole new plug. Many adapters share the US blades with AU and they kind of pivot between them in a way that to me seems wonky.Like all but the ones that specifically state otherwise, this doesn't convert voltage. 120 in 120 out, 220 in 220 out. All it does is allow a different shaped plug to plug in. Perfect for traveling between multiple countries with different standards, and it has enough USB ports to charge up lots of devices from one outlet. The only downside is that the plugs can be a bit difficult to push out sometimes.

There is so much too this. I like knowing I CAN access other types of outlet, but I won't be doing too much traveling.I've been using the USB adapters at home. Occasionally I will use the US style plug.My one complaint would be that it doesn't feel extremely secure in the outlet. The entire adapter rocks side to side with very little pressure. I've had some that fall out of plugs, this doesn't do that, but I wonder if it will in the future.Because the plugs can be retracted, you have you be careful that you pushed the one you need out all the way, or you will find the plug pulling inside like a turtle when you try to plug it in.Everything charges at the same speed as always, I can just charge more of them at once now.I purchased this because I know eventually we will need USB-C plugs. So, I got this in order to be prepared. So now I'm prepared if I want to go on a cruise as well.

I don't like wires. I don't like being tethered in place, or tripping, or potential electrical fire hazards. So... I make sure all my devices, power tools, etc. are wireless and usb chargeable. But I had a problem. The usb slots on my power strip stopped working and I'm not charging all the things via my laptop. This adapter is as described and does exactly what I need it to. It's a bit large but fits comfortably onto my power strip. So now I can charge four usb devices at once, which for me means being able to charge my most used things once a week and be done with it!

Has all the tools to deal with various types of plugs

We travel internationally extensively and this is a great travel plug adapter. About the only plug it doesn't have is Type O for Thailand. Although Thailand does use 2 of the types this adapter has, they also use type O.

Nice compact international travel charger! You can charge a few things at once without worrying about running out of power. Cell phones laptops Apple Watches iPads all can be charged together .

I am actually in Greece right now typing up this review with my laptop plugged into this thing. The indicated wattages are on point and the built-in usb charging ports work as expected. Sizing is pretty good as well and I am happy with the amount of configurations you can use it with - pretty cool it also includes a USA option as well since I could actually see myself using this at home if I wanted to use a laptop and charge a phone without having to bust out a full size power strip. Also it being under 20 bucks makes it a great value.
