In an environment where business textbooks are left and right and centre, it’s hard to attain a thorough grounding in the field unless you choose correctly.An A Level textbook is an unlikely candidate for such a purpose, but it turns out this textbook offers everything you need if the extent of your knowledge in the business world starting off is knowing that profit is revenue minus costs.With that said, it has also doubled as a helping hand for my son who is due to start his A Levels in the following academic year, and who would like something that covers the subject comprehensively.This textbook suits both cases very well. CGP have broken down topics into digestible and easy to follow sections that make the learning and revision experience all that more engaging.All in all, this textbook is an excellent choice for those seeking a comprehensive textbook. It’s easy to grasp thanks to the books familiar yet gentle tone which particularly makes a difference if you’re tackling a tough subject. Plus, with a myriad of questions woven seamlessly woven throughout the textbook, topics are more easily understood. I highly recommend it!

This revision guide has been invaluable as I prepare for my A-Level Business exams. It's packed with clear explanations, helpful examples, and practice questions that have boosted my confidence. The online edition is a fantastic resource, providing additional support and interactive activities. It's well-organized and comprehensive, covering all the key topics in a way that's easy to understand.

I'm not studying for any exams in Business Studies or the like, but I have always had an interest in this subject so I thought I would pick this up book and see how useful it might be in my work life. I've wanted to start my own business for a while and the more help I can get, the better.This appears to be a well written and designed book. Everything is explained clearly and I feel that I can gleam a lot of knowledge from this book. I guess for many studying Business at AS and A Level, this is simply a revision book, but for me it is much more. There are exam question examples for those doing revision and warm up questions better suited for those like me how are simply using this book to learn. There are also case studies that help explain business methods (successes and failures) used by well known companies that we have all heard of.Many subjects are covered including: Decision making in all forms, Strategy, Analysis, Manging change and coping with external factors. It's a very comprehensive book.As you can tell, this review is based on my own use of the book and it may not be applicable to your needs, but I would imagine that this book will help you prepare for your exams to some extent if that is your need. Recommended.

My review is based around the current selling price of £19.79Summary:Overall a very useful book for those studying for A or AS Level, in line with AQA. It is also very useful if you are running your own business or planning to do so. Everything is laid out well with plenty of useful information, good explanations and examples. You also get access to a digital version for free.

I ordered this for my son and here are his comments: Since first using them for my GCSEs I have always felt that CGP’s study materials are particularly good. I am glad to see that this is still the case with their AS and A-Level offerings. This book is printed on over 200 pages of high-quality paper and uses its colour and layout in a way that facilitates easy navigation to the information you need without feeling like an overwhelming wall of text.Concepts are clearly explained in a concise manner and highlight the many important terms and topics you ought to know, with each section including a quiz on what you’ve learned so far, along with mock exam questions for you to practice. The book is interspersed with light humour and use of puns which, while sometimes a little silly, are a nice touch and do help to negate some of the tedium of extensive study sessions.With the purchase of this book, you also get free access to a digital edition via the unique code included. Overall, I feel this book is great value at £21.99 at the time of ordering, especially given how expensive other academic materials can be.
