Background noise that drills into your head while on the phone
The device would have been nice had it not had background noise on all calls. I tried it with different landline phones thinking it was my phones that were the problem. I tried moving the location around my house to see if reception changed the quality of the line. The signal strength lights changed but the hum persisted. I rearranged the antenna and the phone so they were max distance from the adapter as mentioned in the manual for troubleshooting, still no luck. I then took the adapter to a family member's house in a different city to test if perhaps my electrical or location caused the problem. However, the background noise stayed the same. The noise changes pitch over the course of several minutes. The frequency would rise and then fall, though the intensity never changed. I have asked for a refund and I am waiting for a response from the seller. It did everything else flawlessly. However, for the price, there should be no background noise at all.

Works great to turn any sim card into a land line ...
Works well. I do not have many complaints with this unit. Wish it would mount on the wall a little easier. Works great to turn any sim card into a land line phone though.

No more land line
I used it to replace my home landline. I took it to my T-Mobile store and they moved the number and put in a sim card and it worked immediately. Voice quality is a little lacking but that may be due to antenna placement.
