Even though I think this is made for a heated build plate, it really helped me with my Makerbot Z18 3d prints, which were always curling up from the lower layers cooling down too fast and curling up. I use this glue, and I make sure to print enough "helper disks" (which expand the print out and keep the main print from curling up). Going out from the 3d print, I have a small helper disk, and then slightly further out a larger helper disk, which helps tremendously.

I never used glue before because my textured PEI was good as is, and figured it was messy.But occasionally I get a corner that lifts when printing fast which ruins print.. and I'm just using PLA. PET or other shrinkage plastic is probably a must with this.This stuff lasts like 100 prints and worth the price, easy to apply and wash off with water.Works so well I don't even want to bother risking trial and error with other brands or look for better deal, because this is it. Great buy and seller.

Fwiw this prpduct works but would not recommend if you mind glue being fused with your prints OR if you want to print something on pei/cool plate especially. The glue will cover the cool plate design but for textured plate it will fuse a slight glue tinted layer although not that noticeable. Id recommend xzn for a glue that will not fused with finished print. Much cheaper also

had trouble with corners coming up on a large prints or part flying off on faster print speeds (even with heated bed at different temperatures) but with this had no problems whatso ever (PLA material) 60-65C temperatures. Some glue might be on the part afterwards but can be easily removed with some warm water and if needed soap. same with the bed, need to wash it once in a while.

Truly excellent glue. Worked well on both textured PEI plate [to increase adhesion] and a stock Ender 3 V3 SE sticky plate [to increase print release]

I've tried a handful of different products, from regular glue sticks, other brand glue applications, and even hair spray. Magigoo is definitely worth the money. I'm beginning to regularly print ASA and other hotter filaments and have had disbond and warping even with my heated enclosure. Magigoo is able to hold it while it's hot and release one it's cooled down.

This stuff works extremely well. As others have said a little goes a long way. Its extremely sticky and I’ve actually had to remove the base plate the first few prints after a re-application to be able to remove my models. Worth the money to help with those troublesome prints.
