Behemoth is an incredibly fun game! It's not the most polished PSVR2 game I've played, but I had so much fun playing it. I only wish it would have lasted me a little longer. I beat it in about 15 hours. That's a couple of weeks for me. The story was pretty simple, with just a couple of NPC's to drive it. A better ending would've made me feel more rewarded for the effort, but instead, it's only a couple of minutes, then roll credits. This game looks great in the headset. Environments start out pretty stark. You're moving around a snowy, mountainous setting, and indoors, in medieval looking castles. As the game progresses, the outdoor environments start to look a little more green and lush. Even with some occasional pop-in, I feel this is one of the better looking VR games I've played on the PS5.You're mostly battling bad guys with a sword, axe, knives, bow and arrow. You can equip yourself with a shield. You can also use a wrist-mounted grappling hook in combat, which is also needed for swinging around the levels. Fighting is not super difficult and doesn't get a whole lot harder as you progress. But the combat is fun and can get pretty graphic. At the end of areas, you have to fight giant monsters. The boss fights are pretty epic, but again, not super difficult. I think the end boss was the easiest of the four. I wouldn't mind a bit more difficulty. The trophies are all achievable, even for a casual gamer like myself. I got most of them without trying very hard. I would need to play through it a second time to get the last couple.Overall, I would really recommend this game. I would like to see more VR games like this.
