Dubia Roaches 200 Extra Small

DUBIAS ARRIVED IN PERFECT SHAPE, NO DOA

I usually purchase roaches from my local pet store (36 count for $7-$8). So I went on Amazon to see what I could find and scrolled upon this seller. After reading the reviews, I went ahead and decided to place an order. I received my order in just 4 days!! Fairly well packaged in my opinion (vented box, labeled well, in a netted bag, with egg cartons and a carrot slice for food). Not much of an odor, as some have mentioned. All 200 HAD to be there.. there was so many! Accurate size. I ordered 200 count - small. They seem to love them so far. Definitely going to be ordering again!

The roaches showed up after one heck of a trip. They finally showed up 8 days after ordering and were all surprisingly in good shape with only a few dead. I immediately brought them in from the 20 degree weather since there was a mix up with the post office. As soon as they warmed up they were fed a carrot and devoured it. I did feed a few to small bearded dragon and he enjoyed them. The value was good, I didn’t notice an odor like some have reported. Other than the shipping being really slow, it was a positive experience.

This seller impressed me. Without issues, they replaced my order of small Dubia roaches once I told them mine had arrived all dead. Great quality bugs in the replacement order. Most are alive and active. My bearded dragon will love them! Packaging could use work though. If shipping during winter months, some type of warmers or insulation would be wise. Also, shipping roaches in a *netting-style woven bag* is not ideal. I had to hand pick a lot out of the netting to put them in their habitat container. Not ideal. Otherwise, good product. Professional seller.

It arrived and I'm super happy! I ordered from another place twice and it didn't arrive. And this one finally arrived. I forgot about it in the mailbox for two days. 🥹🥹🥹 I even thought they were dead because of the cold. But they were alive. If they had been dead, I would have bought them again, because at least something had arrived. So, buy them, I'm super happy to have them.

So I have ordered once before and they were amazing and lived for awhile. This time within two days all but 30 were dead. When I got them in the mail over half were dead. It was very disappointing. I ended up deciding not to feed them to my lizards due to so many of them being dead. I will order again and hope this was just a fluke. I know transporting can be hard on the insects. Like I said the first batch was amazing and lived through a full month and a half of feeding until they had all be fed.

I bought these guys to start breeding my own on a very small scale for my 3 leopard geckos. 2 of them are only few months old so I decided to go with the extra small size. They arrived on time and all appear to be alive. I would definitely recommend and will buy from this seller again! To those complaining about "other bugs" being in their orders, dubia roaches are commonly kept with lesser mealworm and dermestid beetles. They are known as the "cleanup crew" because they eat the shells, droppings and debris from the dubias. These guys are not harmful and whatever you're feeding your dubias too can eat them as well. So there's nothing wrong with your order, think of it as a bonus!
