A good value option to replace a spinning hard drive
I bought this 2.5 in solid state drive to rejuvenate an older laptop that was almost at its end of life with a failing spinning hard disk. Don't have any misconceptions, this is a value solid state drive and not one that's intended for the highest performance. Still, I've had very good experiences with it for a few months. I put this drive in and did a fresh install of Windows. Since then, it's worked well for some basic web browsing and video chats, and it's even helped Windows 10 not slow to a crawl even with only 4 GB of RAM. That's all I wanted out of it. If you're looking for a no-frills replacement for an older hard drive, this is a reasonable choice. I can't speak to its long-term reliability, but it seems to be going just fine with use a couple of days a week over the past few months.

Great Budget SSD for Everyday Use!
I bought the ORICO 128GB SATA SSD to upgrade an older desktop, and it’s made a huge difference. The installation was easy, and the speed improvement is very noticeable. Boot times are now super quick, and everyday tasks like opening files or launching programs feel so much smoother. While it’s not the fastest SSD out there, it’s perfect for basic use or as a secondary drive. I’ve been getting excellent use out of it. For the price, it’s a fantastic value and a great way to extend the life of an older machine. Highly recommended if you’re on a budget and need something with descent capacity.

Great for upgrading old laptops
Used this to upgrade an old laptop for a friend. It works great and the speeds are as advertised. The only reason I didn't give this 5stars is because I bought the 128GB and the capacity was actually 118GB. I'm unsure why this is the case, but for the price and performance it's still a really good value. Not really needing the missing 10GB, so it's still a keeper.

Don't Bother - Spend A Little More To Get Something That You Know Works
I bought this 128GB drive to replace an SD Card in a Home Assistant setup. HAOS doesn't really need much space, so I figured that for $10 this would serve as a functional and affordable replacement for an aging and failing card.Attempting to write the image to MacOS returned constant errors that the verification failed - which given this is the same image and drive cable I used to write a backup drive earlier, should not be failing like this. Attemping to write the drive on Linux worked with no errors, but actually attempting to boot the disk on my Raspberry Pi resulted in... pretty much constant boot errors.Hangs, reboots, failures, you name it, it did it.I gave up and kept using the backup drive I was already running. As far as I'm concerned, this should not be considered reliable or stable for any kind of production or even testing use. If it can't handle a simple write and boot operation, then I wouldn't trust it for any possible use.Spend some money on more reliable drive from a known brand. Kensington, Samsung, TEAMGROUP, etc.
