I washed before doing anything with it and it shrank 5cm in width. After I washed it I starched it myself and made feather pillows from it. The pillows/fabric are great, they do not let feathers out. **Q: what is the weight of the fabric in gsm?** A: Sorry, don't know that one **Q: is this fabric waxed to prevent the feathers coming through on cushions?** A: Recommended, not one feather escaped best material I've ever bought **Q: Is this material suitable for filling with down and feathers as I want to make pillows out of an old duvet** A: I think it is only just suitable, it depends on the fabric of your duvet, if it's a good quality fabric it should be okay ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Get what,s advertised, material doesn,t disappoint *by H***4 on 16 August 2019* Didn,t dislike anything about this material, it was even white which l didn't expect, thought it would be cream.
