I purchased this bed frame primarily because it was the only one I found that had optional additional slats for additional support. I carefully measured to make sure it would fit inside my existing bed frame and did have to cut small sections at the center support areas so it would fit but it was very easy with an osalating tool. I tried to show pics where I cut so the center areas would fit. Total time to construct was about an hour and half including cutting the slots for the center support areas.The bed was very well packaged and came with clear instructions. It also came with the tools needed to fully construct the bed. The additional slats were shipped separately and arrived a day later but that was not that big a deal.Everything was well marked and went together smoothly. I slept on it last night and it felt solid and sound.I would definitely recommend this bed frame especially with the additional slats. Great price as well.

The bed frame came quickly, packaged in a strong box. Instructions were easy to understand and follow along. The only problem was that side 3 and side 4 were mislabeled; it took me less than 5 minutes to figure out that they were mislabeled and once I switched them around the bed went together in no time. The pieces only fit together one way, making it easy to figure out the mistake in the labeling of parts 3 and 4 (left side rail and right side rail). The frame is very sturdy but being that the parts are skinny it gave me a little concern at first but it holds plenty of weight.

I bought two of these one for each bedroom, and they are fabulous. They allow for excellent under bed storage and great support of the mattress. They go together relatively easily. I did it by myself in about a half an hour. The directions are easy to follow. They look really nice.

This is a well made and solid frame that is much better than the G base it replaced. Relatively easy to assemble, in spite of the poor instructions. The legs are solid and have plastic inserts so shouldn't mar hard floors. The lack of the flimsy cross pieces found on a G base allow for more underbed storage. We got the 14 inch for tote storage and it works pretty well. The 18" option might have been better but I was concerned that, paired with a 12" mattress, might have been too high. The options go from 12 to 14 then jumps to 18 so a 16 would have been nice. Overall a great alternative to the G base at a much better price point.

East to put together and perfect for the teenagers as it doesn’t require a box spring!
