Maui Mask Snorkel Mesh Gear Bag Combo

My family and I had a trip planned to the beach and I decided I wanted a set of goggles and a snorkle. After a little searching, I kept coming back to this set. The fact that it came with a carrying case was a plus. The price was comparable to what I was seeing locally for a cheap set of snorkle and goggles. So, I gave it a shot. And I'm glad that I did.The carrying case that came with the set is pretty large. I was able to fit my sons snorkle set in the same bag with no issues. One carrying case for two sets. Can't beat that. The bag is also mesh, so, no worries about mold or mildew as it's very breathable. Another plus is you won't have to clean sand out of your bag after a trip to the beach.The goggles are quite comfortable. They fit your head well and are easy to adjust. Also, the adjustments you make seem to hold well for a while. No having to readjust after a few dives for me. Also, I didn't have the issues I usually have with them fogging up. Lube them up with a little water or spit and you're good to go.The goggles themselves are very clear rubber. The viewing angle is great. I didn't feel like my peripheral vision was impeded much with these at all. They let in lots of light. The snorkle pairs well with this set. It's a comfortable set.If you're not into snorkeling on a regular basis, I don't think you'll have any issues with this product. I anticipate these will last several years for me.

Bought three of these for my two teenage kids and myself, then used them for snorkeling in Australia and Papua New Guinea.The good: Seals very well around your face and even handled some of my daughter's hair getting caught in the seal without leaking. The quick-clip snorkel release is really handy and very easy to use. I'd never seen that before but I'm sold! It makes a lot less hassle when trying to untangle yourself after swimming. On that topic, the rubber straps did a great job holding the mask in place without slipping up or down, AND they don't grab your hair and pull it like many masks do! Very big positive!! The snorkels worked well, keeping water out without inhibiting normal breathing. Blowing out water after diving was easy and effective, too. The view glass held up nicely against scratches (none) and is a good size.The bad: Fogging is always an issue when snorkeling and these are no exception. The usual methods to prevent fog did not seem to work all that well for us; I can't say why that was so can't blame the mask. The overall size of the mask seems to run a bit small, making it uncomfortable across the bridge of my nose (fairly small nose but it's been broken and has a weird bump as a result). The kids didn't mention any special discomfort so may just be me. A nose valve to blow out water that does get in would be nice, but for $25 you can't expect everything!We used these a total of about 20 hours in the water.

I didn't think that my nose was that big, but this mask is definitely too small for my nose as it crunches it up and prevents a good seal from forming in the mask.

Worth it just for the snorkel. Best snorkel for keeping water out and best quick release mask clip. Mask leaked and couldn't clear without surfacing. I have a mustache and found better mask for that and set for mask & snorkel was cheaper than this set. If it had a performing mask to match snorkel I would give 5 stars or better. For my 10 year old son and 12 year old daughter the adult mask here was better than the youth mask. My kids would rate this as 5 stars. This mask performed flawlessly compared to the youth mask I purchased for them.

Loved this set. It doesn't fill up with water when you dive under the surface.

The mask leaks. I have tried adjusting it every way possible and one side leaks. It does not seal on the left side and it is hard to tell if the mask is evenly made around the edge that seals the water out. I'm waiting for spring to get a U.S. Divers set from Walmart. I use a snorkel and mask because of the inability to turn my head due to multiple surgeries from a severe neck injury, this mask does not help my problem.

I bought this snorkeling set for a trip to Bermuda. It did not let me down on my snorkeling trip. I had gone snorkeling a few years ago, but did NOT like the idea of wearing snorkeling equipment on the catamaran excursion that had been worn by many others, and cound not count on their "cleaning equipment" or cleaning process to keep me safe from "cooties"! But this set did all I had expected, I followed the directions, so the glasses/goggles did not fog up. I secured the strap around my head, and I had no leaks. I could see the bottom of the sea in Bermuda! Great set (and value) from Amazon!

I used this snorkel set when I went to the Caribbean this past fall. I used it several times, and it worked very well. The goggles were as comfortable as any in this price range, and it was nice to have a set that is not black. It was easy for mom to spot me with the very distinct pink and white snorkel sticking up at times. I used Baby shampoo on the lenses, and didn't have any issues with fogging. No water leaking issues with either piece. Highly recommend!
