Seems to be a high quality foundation. I tend to prefer tinted moisturizers but this is a good foundation for the price. I have purchased much more expensive foundations, but this one seems better. It is not heavy, but I feel it on my skin. The color match is pretty good. It looks smoothing and just a little bit glowy. I would purchase it again.

I typically wear full coverage foundation, but wanted something lighter to wear in the summer. This foundation is perfect! It is medium coverage but buildable. I am able to get a pretty full coverage look. It is light weight and feels good on my skin. I love the dewy finish that it leaves. This is a great price for a foundation. Elf never fails me!

This was a reasonably priced new product to try. Since I use so many elf products , I thought I would try this. Wasn’t sure if I was getting a matte or a Dewey foundation and it’s really not either.I used elf primer underneath and the foundation did go on pretty well although I did have to build it to get a decent amount of coverage. I did all the things that I do with my other foundations and set it with the same powder.Within two hours, my face felt very greasy, and I already could see separation on the spot of my face that I usually want covered. It happened a couple of times. Don’t know if I am using this product wrong, but I will go back to my elfCamo or other foundations. Maybe I will mix this with some others to get a better result. The color was true to my facial color

I ordered this in #23 Cool Light and it is the perfect shade for my light skin. I tried this in the Fair shades and these were too light on me. It provides beautiful, even coverage. It looks satiny and breathy. It looks great all day and doesn’t melt, even with hot flashes. I love that it is buildable, depending on how much coverage I desire or need. This behaves like a much more expensive product. I’m in my sixties and it is the best I’ve used over the course of my life.

First of all, I am 66, so I am not looking for any kind of "luminous" finish. This foundation does have a dewy finish or slight glow which brightens my face, making skin look less dull. The foundation goes on very smoothly, nice and creamy. Most importantly, while most foundations do nothing for firmness or lines, this foundation applied over my Misha BB cream looked really good and full, and did not settle in lines. I have difficulty finding the right shade for a medium cool tone, but really like the choices since many foundations do NOT offer an option for medium cool. I am using Elf products more and more as they are amazingly effective at such a reasonable price.

I took one star off because this is definitely NOT a cool toned foundation. That said, it IS an outstanding product! I would classify it as neutral leaning warm, with solid medium buildable, satin-finish coverage. For reference, I only use higher-end foundations, but decided to give this a try, and I’m glad I did. I just add some cool-toned foundation mixer (Derol) and it is perfect. My skin is combination to dry, fair/light. My foundations matches are Estée Lauder Fresco or Desert Beige, IT Cosmetics CC+ Nude Glow Fair Light, Saie Slip Tint in Three, and Chanel Ultra Teint Velvet in B20. I wore the Elf today with no primer, in 90 degree + heat and humidity, and did a sweaty cardio workout and it stayed put and looked great several hours later. Highly recommend, but not sure how they are determining the undertones in these shades?
