Before buying *by J***S on October 28, 2024* I bought this towards the end of September, installed as per Terry G. Worked fine for awhile, now it's making a noise and back to the same code on the PS5 as before, not able to update again. Waste of 90 bucks in my opinion, not sure the reason, but now my PS5 is a paper weight again ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Don’t have try it ,that ribbon doesn’t fit to PlayStation 5 (cfi-1215A) *by L***G on May 19, 2025* That fit to my ps5 thanks Amazon ### ⭐ Buyer beware *by B***N on January 16, 2026* This item I received did not work. It was also not NEW as the sticker said on the box. The item is damaged outside and inside, also showing visible tampering with worn or stripped screws and one broken screw peg in the rubber housing on the top shell. I'm disappointed wasting my time and patience. It's misleading how the product was presented and described. ## Frequently Bought Together - LeHang Blu-Ray DVD Optical Drive Laser with Empty Shell Metal Module Replacement Compatible with Sony PlayStation 5 PS5 KEM-497AAA (fit CFI- 1215A 1200) - Aosai 4Pcs HDMI Port Replacement for PlayStation 5, HDMI Display Socket Connector Jack for Sony PS5 Console (Silver - 4 Pcs) - LeHang DVD Optical Disc Drive Connector Module Replacement Compatible with Sony PlayStation 5 PS5 KEM-497AAA (fit CFI-1115A 1100 only) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ma/products/633602390-blu-ray-dvd-drive-laser-shell-for-sony-ps5-kem](https://www.desertcart.ma/products/633602390-blu-ray-dvd-drive-laser-shell-for-sony-ps5-kem) --- *Product available on Desertcart Morocco* *Store origin: MA* *Last updated: 2026-10-13*
