Think of this like a gym bag. It's big enough for carrying everything you could ever want & more, however it has zero structure to it, so has nothing to hold the sides up or even stop the bottom from sagging.My other half kindly acquired me a cardboard box to put in it, which has solved the issue for me, but it has added to the weight a little.It is huge - I easily fit a spare change of clothes, towels, my reel bag, weight box, bait tubs, 2 x 1.8-litre flasks, lap rig tray, hand wipes, first aid kit, toilet rolls, sandwiches, rig box, wallet, keys, sunglasses, sun cream, pod - in fact every bit of fishing kit I've ever owned with the exception of my rods, net handle and umbrella & the only reason they won't fit is that they are too long.I cannot stress how big this bag is when it comes to space. It's great as now I can literally keep everything in one bag, together and it makes packing up & putting everything in the car so much simpler. i literally open the top, chuck everything in & am good to go. My other half has fishing bags, rod bags, various containers & goodness knows what - I have 1 bag, my rod bag (with rods, net handle & umbrella) & a chair.It sits next to me on the bank & I zip the top closed & then pop my lap tray on top with my rig box & that's me sorted as it acts as a table.The material appears thin but fairly strong. I have no idea how it would hold up being brushed up against something sharp - I don't think it would not come out damaged, but so far it is doing a fine job.For the price I think this is a great bag - just a shame that it's so soft & has no structure, but if like me that's a bugbear then a cardboard box will solve the problem & still leave space down the sides for things such as a spare top, jumper, socks, or trousers etc (just in case you tend to have a habit of getting wet, falling in or just like some spares for the unpredictable British weather).

Good bag plenty of room for bulky bits n pieces.

It basically does what it says for the price. Its a good size, has two straps, side pocket for nets and looks ok. Zips need to be looked after as poor quality and look weak. Also arrived with dirt/mould on it which wiped off ok but maybe been in storage for a while. Overall it'll do the job and for under twenty pound it's good value.

Needed to slim down my fishing gear for some short trips as I found I was taking everything with me on every trip and it was becoming too heavy and that I was only using part of what I'd taken. So for some trips I needed to cut down on my gear. Looked for an inexpensive but spacious bag and this ticks all the boxes. It holds a lot of stuff and as in a previous review, I found it helpful to put an old empty cardboard box inside it to give it some rigidity. I've packed everything I need into it including my outer wear - over-trousers, fleece, hat, towel, as well as bait, ground bait nets, and gear. Highly recommended. Well done Matt Hayes and Fladen!

Had read other reviews who reported the bag's large capacity. However, wasn't prepared for the lvast size when I opened the package. Like another reviewer I will probably put a box or frame inside. The zip may be the weak point but at this price what's to dislike?
