Does zero water remove fluoride, heavy metals and medications?

TEST SHOWS THAT ZERO WATER FILTER DOES FILTER OUT FLUORIDE: I have used the Zero Water filter for years (simply because I like zero taste in my water) and have been wondering recently if it filtered out fluoride. Since there is not a definitive answer in this thread I decided to test it myself. I confirmed a level of 0.75 ppm at my home before filtering (0.25 ppm is naturally occurring). Testing showed that the Zero Water filter did filter out fluoride. The test showed that fluoride levels dropped to < 0.05 ppm (and was continuing to drop when well pulled it from the test). Therefore, I conclude that Zero Water does in fact filter out fluoride.

I found a perfect solution for this problem. I bought a tiny plunger(this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N46BGKF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) and I gently "plunge" the filter with water, making sure its not pushing more air into the filter. This seems to dislodge the air bubbles, and doesnt harm the filter. After doing this i still get 0 TDS and it fills up all the way to the top again!

Does this system remove bacteria?

As the others said: this water is for use with already treated water (thats basically what potable means). It cannot be used in a camping setting to make water safe (so no, it wont remove bacteria), but is best used with already filtered water to filter it further. Personally, I like using the filtered water from my fridge, which rates a 150mp, instead of the tapwater, rates 220 mp, to further filter it to 0mp. Also, the smaller mp water youre entering into the filter, the longer the filter should last.
