Order it.
I dont always write a review but this little pizza oven was such a hit I wanted to let anyone that was undecided to go ahead and buy it.It was easy to put together, box was heavy and a little battered but no damage to pizza oven. A little tip was to not completely tighten the screws on the base until it is put together them tighten everything before setting the oven part on top. It is a little small but we sat as we did the fire and the pizzas so it really worked out to be a great height. It was a nice weight metal and we have used it and it has held up well. We were about to buy a really big, bulky, expensive pizza oven and I bought this just because we couldnt agree which one. We could not be happier with this purchase! it is inexpensive enough that if we tire of making pizzas no big deal. Also if it falls apart in two years we could afford to buy another instead of being stuck with a $4,000 heavy pizza oven. I highly recommend this oven. We were not expecting this oven to be as good as it is. For the cost it just amazed us. If you are looking for an expensive high end pizza oven, this is not it. If you are looking for a really good quality inexpensive fun pizza oven, order this!

Fire it up!
First of all you can't go wrong for $225.00 on this Pizza oven. I laid out all of the parts to make sure I had everything ready for assembly and proceeded. A few pieces of the metal were bent, but easily fixed with some vice grips. I didn't tighten down the screws all the way as recommended until I put the top of the oven on and it went together quite nicely. I purchased some Mesquite wood for my first trial run and cranked it up to about 500 degrees and made my first frozen pizza, it was out of this world. Crispy crust and tasty. I will be making fresh pizza dough in the future. For the naysayers that complain about the quality of this product, go ahead and spend a lot more money on an upscale unit. This is not a commercial unit, it's for folks that would like to bake a tasty home made pizza every once in awhile and enjoy themselves while doing it.

Not a bad oven.
As you can see in the photos it arrived a little beat up! I was able to bend the damaged parts back into shape. This is the replacement one I received since the first one arrived with internal damage the made it unusable! As for the quality it's not bad for the price! The directions could be better.I need to learn how to cook on it but I've made acceptable Pizzas on it! With practice and a little experience they will get better. It works OK!

You get what you pay for...
It does a decent job of making pizza once you get the hang of it and learn how to manage the temp according to your tastes. That was my first problem. After a couple uses the thermometer becomes useless because of its position right above the door which blackens from escaping smoke. Had to purchase another thermometer to mount on the side. With the progression of the rust I am experiencing I don't expect much more than about 3 or 4 years of use. For the price I guess that might be acceptable, but I'll look for something a little bit more robust that can withstand the elements next time. I have mine in a sheltered location so it does not get direct exposure to rain but still rusts.

A lit of fun for the mon [ey]
This little unit was easy to assemble [so says my son] and a lot of fun. Quick as a bunny we made 2 pizzas as a trial , me having collected scraps of wood around the yard because we were so "fired up!" Now I understand the fuss about wood fired pizzas but my son told me to get some apple scented or hickory wood next time . Great little inexpensive cooker [compared to many other makes & models] Looking forward to future creations ! Like the 3 drawers. Easy clean up of ashes from bottom drawer. The metal gets really hot from all sides so it needs to be heavily supervised with youngsters around. That is my only reservation about recommending it.

To much money for such poor quality
Very disappointed when it’s heated up to cook the pizza the paint bubbled on side of the door handle and the heat thermometer turned black

Works insanely well for the price.
Took some experimenting to get the right kind of fire (small cord wood, not pitchy) now we're getting 500 - 650 degrees and excellent pizzas. Being steel it doesn't hold heat like a masonry oven, but it doesn't cost over $1000 either. We'd planned on a pellet oven, but this one has a larger 14" min cooking area and plenty of access area for manipulating the pizza. Fairly stable and well constructed for the investment. Thrilled with our purchase.

Takes a little time to figure out but good value
I love this thing. I have used it about 4 times in a week. It takes some getting used to but once you do it's great. I have used charcoal and wood. Wood just one time and it turned out the best. Got it up to 700 sustained degrees. The fit and finish isn't that great but its the cheapest one with the biggest area. So you get what you pay for. I am thinking of adding a blanket of insulation. I also got a set of smaller cast iron pans that I think with just a little bit of would be cool for cooking things for a long time. I will probably use this once a week. Side note, one time I used it in the rain and still kept temperature.
