The Ultimate Knife Sharpener – Fast, Precise, and Worth Every Penny!
I've gone through my fair share of sharpeners over the years, always searching for the perfect one—and I think I’ve finally found it with the Work Sharp Ken Onion Edition Elite Mk2. This sharpener does an incredible job, bringing my knives to a razor-sharp edge quickly and effortlessly.I previously used a manual sharpener, which worked well but took far too long. This electric system not only saves time but also provides consistent, professional-quality results. The adjustable sharpening angles and blade grinding attachment make it versatile for all my knives and tools.I can confidently say this will be my go-to sharpener for life—at least until it quits (and when it does, I'll probably buy another one)! Highly recommended for anyone serious about keeping their blades in top shape.

WORKS WELL AND THE PRICE IS FAIR FOR WHAT YOU ARE GETTING
This sharpening system works well for me. I like it better than my 1” belt sander. I like the angle of the belt and I can do a lot of work without getting tired. I would prefer that the machine be made of metal but this works well and I will try to wear it out. It is well built and should last a long time. I recommend this system to others. For what you are getting, I think the price is fair and you will enjoy using it.

Elite level home sharpener!
Really great tool for the serious home sharpener or aspiring pro. This can do everything fast, easy, and precise. I have used it for knifes, tools, and even swords! It can sharpen and repair blades with ease. The grinder attachment is the way to go. Great quality, safe, easy to use, compact but not cheap feeling at all. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a fast alternative to sharpening stones or plates.

Great System, Easy to Use
With this system you essentially get two ways to sharpen knives. The original system sets the angles and you pull the blade through towards you. I like the Blade Grinding attachment MK.2 system better than the original system since it seems faster and easier to use. I have been able to get blades shockingly sharp using this system. Follow the directions and you can’t go wrong.

Simple, Solid, and Effective
I don’t usually write reviews, but the Work Sharp Ken Onion Edition Elite Mk2 totally deserves it.I've tried a bunch of sharpening tools over the years — stones, pull-throughs, guided systems — and nothing even comes close to what this thing can do. Seriously, it's like having a mini knife shop on your workbench.Insanely sharp results. I mean scary sharp. It puts a perfect edge on everything from kitchen knives to pocket knives, even axes and mower blades.Super versatile. You can adjust the angle from 15° to 30°, and it works on all sorts of tools. Even sharpened some scissors with it.Easy to use. There’s a bit of a learning curve, but once you get the feel for it, it’s super intuitive. Swapping belts takes seconds, and the variable speed motor gives you a ton of control.

Makes quick work of damaged edges
Coming from the Work Sharp Professional Precision Adjust, this system cuts down greatly on the time it takes to fix damaged edges or edges that need a large amount of reprofiling. Where I used to spend seemingly forever with the 220 grit stone going back and forth, now I can knock out in 10 minutes.Overall the edge quality is nice as well. While not quite able to achieve as mirror a finish as the Professional Precision Adjust, this system can still sharpen to a very good edge and in much shorter time. I'm sure with some leather belts and finer stropping compound I can get to the same level of mirror finish as well.Overall this is a great system to use alongside the Professional Precision Adjust, however if I had to have just one I'd likely defer to the Professional Precision Adjust as it's ability to make a great edge, while taking a bit longer, is worth the slower progress.Having only done 4 knives so far, I still have yet to see the original belts diminish in performance, so that may have an impact on my review in the future.

Makes quick work of sharpening tasks
I owned the original Ken Onion Work Sharp for 10+ years and really loved the overall performance and capabilities of that sharpener. I sharpened hundreds of pocket knives, kitchen knives, tools, and scissors using that platform. Unfortunately, the drive broke so it was time for an upgrade. This version does everything the original did only better. There is much less play in the angle setting and the guides are firm. The ergonomics are significantly improved as well making the task of sharpening 10 kitchen knives a breeze. Yesterday I was able to repair and sharpen all my kitchen knives in about 30 minutes and the results are nice and sharp.Pocket knives using the new grinding attachment are so much easier! I can get right up to the choil without worrying about damaging the thumb screws. The overall motion is easy and after a few repetitions the muscle memory kicks in giving fantastic results in minutes. The addition of the leather strop takes sharpness to a whole new level with hair literally popping off when drug along the blade. If I consider the fact that taking my knives to a local sharpener will cost me around $10 per knife I'm saving money after just a few months of maintenance care on my knives.
