This updated version of the Original Bash Guard from flatland3d is now made from injection molded ABS plastic for a smoother, more streamlined outer aesthetic. This new design provides the same protection and function you’ve come to expect from flatland3d. Designed as a direct replacement for the stock riser on your Boosted Board V2 (also compatible with V1 boards), the Bash Guard M will provide protection to the nose or tail of your deck without any effect to the ride feel or dynamics. Choose Pronged or Rounded versions, and choose Orange, Black or the new “Fresh Green.” The Bash Guard M is sold individually. This Bash Guard listing includes Cable Clips. Purchase while they are available for BB V2 +XR
I purchased two of these after having use the rubber bumpers that kept falling off even after using glue or cement like sealant to adhere to the board. These were easy to install and very durable and can take on the abuse from what I see. I have a BB V2 +XR. I removed the original riser that came with the XR battery and works fine. I thought the board would be too low but, it's fine.

Not really a must have but a nice to have if your Boosted Board is brand new
I got this for my Boosted Stealth. It's not absolutely needed since the new deck is more reinforced to begin with, unlike the prior versions of the Boosted Board decks, where were bamboo and could wear down very easily.That said, this still protects the tail from scuffs. I only got a guard for the tail since I regularly stand it up on the tail to charge it or just to rest it against a wall when I go places, etc.If my board weren't brand new, I probably wouldn't really worry about getting one of these, but since it is, I may as well keep the tail from getting scuffed.This does not add any weight and was easy to install. Note, you will need the extended riser as well if you have a board with the extended range battery.

The first accessory every new Boosted Board owner should get
If you're going to spend several hundred dollars on a Boosted Board you should protect your investment by getting a bash guard. I got one for for the bottom on my board so that when I stand it upright on the ground it doesn't get damaged. I used to 3d print my bash guards but they kept breaking, so I purchased this. It's very strong and hasn't failed me yet. Very worthwhile purchase!
