Good Product, Great Customer Service
We recently upgraded our older iPads which had Paperlike screen protectors on them, and went to get a new set. The product themselves serve their purpose, to create a matte, paper-like surface for your apple pencil/stylus to mimic the feeling of writing on paper as well as protecting the glass. A typical matte screen protector. The aspect that sets Paperlike apart from others is their customer service. You see, even as screen protection application veterans, my partner and I still had issues installing the screen protector on their iPad. Each package comes with 2 protectors. We followed the application instructions, but our first attempt ended up with scuff marks from using a credit card to get rid of the bubbles. Our second attempt didn’t align well because we couldn’t get the guide stickers to stick! I reached out to paperlike, and they responded so quickly! We explained our issue to them, and they happily offered to send a replacement set. It came within 24 hours of us reaching out. I don’t think I’ve ever had such a great customer experience. I’m glad we gave their products a second chance. Turns out we got a lemon package to begin with, but were much more successful with the second package. Unless someone comes out with an airtight, vacuum sealed screen protector application system alongside their protector product, I’ll continue to buy these for my iPads.

Good idea, terrible execution
TLDR: Don't buy it if you love your sanity.I like this product and company, but I can't recommend it to others. The application process is cool and unique on paper, but it just doesn't work in reality.1. My first application attempt while following the video failed, as when I went to remove the white protective filament of the screen protector, the actual screen protector came off with it. I tried to then peel it off and lay it on by hand, but that was a failure.2. In the second application attempt, the screen protector would've peeled off again, but I was aware of this product flaw and didn't let it. Then, the red/pink guiding tabs were very bad at guiding the screen protector, as it still warped. Bubbles got in, creases got in, and dust got in due to the strenuous application process. This whole process took away from the joy of owning a new iPad. I want to use this cool product with my new iPad, but it needs revision in the design department. I know it will cost the company more money, but if you just used a plastic guide mold like *literally* every other screen protector out there, it would be perfect. Until then, I can't recommend this product.

Feels Just Like Writing on Paper – Perfect for Creatives & Note-Takers
I’ve been using the Paperlike Screen Protector on my 2024 iPad Pro 13”, and it absolutely delivers on the promise of an authentic paper feel. Whether I’m writing notes or sketching, the texture gives just the right amount of resistance—way better than writing on glass.Installation was smooth, and it comes with two protectors, which is a nice bonus. After weeks of use, it’s held up really well—no peeling, scratches, or weird glare. Plus, it doesn’t interfere with screen clarity or touch response at all.If you use the Apple Pencil regularly, this is a must-have accessory. It enhances control, comfort, and the overall experience. Highly recommend for students, artists, or anyone who wants their iPad to feel more like a real notebook.

Must have lent free room or you will have problems with the install
Its ok. It is great if you want the feel of writing on paper with very little protection for scratches its thin and does not protect your screen if you have some kid come in and knock your ipad off your desk. need a thicker protector. Also installation is not very easy. I have Learned it is better if you take a shower first and then install it in the bathroom as the lint is not a problem with some moisture in the air once the room is not steamy I it would be difficult to do the install there but worth it if you have cats in the house because even the unseen lint can cause major issues with installing your screen protector.I wish there was a better way to install your protector so you dont get lent and air bubbles. I went back to a tempered glass for protection and one a few lint there is not much you can do when living with cats to keep from having lint.

Love these for writing on iPad
Love these for writing on my iPad; however, I suck at getting them on right, so I ended up using both and still have dust and a couple bubbles. I’m not knocking the product because it’s great. A little expensive but they last a long time and are durable.

Absolute nightmare, major regression from 1.0
I tried Paperlike 1.0 on a friend's iPad recently, and I was really impressed - it installed clean, and it felt clearly like paper, without compromising visuals. Using a pen with it was remarkable! I had recently picked up an iPad Pro 13" (normal glass, not nano), so I bought this latest 2.1 product to give it a try.First - there were several defects - small chips on the underside of the screen protector (tiny flecks of the underside lining?) that made some tiny bubbles unremovable. You may think I just let dust get trapped, but I was obsessive about that, and these were immovable.Second - the color washes out the screen slightly, which you can't tell until both sides are removed.Third, and most damning - it feels nothing like 1.0. It's slightly tacky, so the pen now squeaks like mad, and it feels awful for normal touch experiences.I can't imagine what happened between 1.0 and 2.1, but avoid this one! I haven't tried any competitors products yet, but I'm hoping there's something out there better than this.
