My wife conducts a Zoom call with our 4 daughters each week. I had to replace her Mac with an updated Mac Mini. As you all know, it does not have an onboard microphone. It is a small form factor with a normal sound pickup response that most folks will use, but it also has a noise suppression element that can be turned on, reducing or eliminating background noise like dog barking, or a robot vaccum doing its thing. My girls raved about how clear their Mom's voice was on the call today. I was a hero for choosing this microphone. It is excellent and small for desktop use as well as easily portable. These are excellent for speech to text. Very good sensitivity. You do not have to hold it to your face. It has a very small foot print. Unlike those big bulky desk mics. Definitely worth the money. Establishes a very stable connection. The AI portion works very well.

Everyone on my calls kept asking if I was in a tunnel. Picked up every background noise imaginable and made my voice sound muffled and terrible. My built in laptop mic is ten times better. Completely useless.

The mic itself looks about as impressive as unseasoned oatmeal but it sounds amazing. The noise cancellation is great, I always have a fan blasting in my face and it keeps the quality pretty well. It's not clunky and doesn't get in the way of anything. This bad boy humiliates microphones 4x the price.I was worried it would be another poorly made mic that wouldn't even work when plugged in but it's literally just plug it in and it works. The cord is pretty long too so you don't need to worry about accidentally yanking it out of the USB. The lights are easy to tell what mode it's on.With noise cancelling off the mic picks up all the detail in your voice too. Baby works wonders.
