Red ones not my favorite, but the French ones are chef’s kiss
So I actually would like to do an update to this review as of (3/20/25) First of all, the customer service is excellent. They reached out to me after I posted this review, clarified instructions, and send me new nails to try. Turns out I actually love these. I got the French manicure ones as the replacement. I still don’t like the red ones and I don’t think they’re super true to the picture. But I will 100% re-order the french pair and try other colors. These nails also feel pretty good. I think I’ll be using them in conjunction with Glamnetic.I have been a huge fan of press ons for the past 2 years. They have saved me so much time sitting at the salon getting acrylics (which I personally don’t enjoy) and money as well. For most of this time I’ve been using Glamnetics and I am really satisfied with those, but sometimes I’ll see some color variations for BTArtbox that I’m intrigued by. I ordered this set to see if they would be good enough to use alongside my Glamnetic sets. The verdict - they are not, not for me at least.Let me explain why. They are at the same price point as Glamnetic but they are not as strong and don’t last as long. I understand that both Glamnetic nails and BTA nails are made of plastic, but BTA has more of a plastic feel, maybe because the plastic is lower quality or thinner. With this set you can almost see a little bit through it in the right light/angle.Also, and I’m not sure why this is, but Glamnetic usually lasts 2-4 weeks for me, but with BTA by the 3rd day, the nails were starting to fall off. At this point, I’ve mastered the prep, so did the exact same steps I do for Glamnetic. At first, I thought that maybe the glue wasn’t as good, so then I tried it with Glamnetic glue and had the same issue. So now I think, again, it’s the material. Lastly, I can’t speak for all sets because I only tried one, but the color was a bit off. I expected a more RED red, whereas the color felt a bit more like off red or muted. This isn’t really a negative though because some people might like that, I just didn’t love it.Now for the positive. These nails are definitely still superior to anything you can buy at the drugstore. They are harder and more nail-like. Would I use them again over Glamnetic? Probably not, because of the similar price point but worse quality. But if I had never tried Glamnetic and went straight from drugstore nails to BTA, I’d be impressed. Which makes me feel like the issue here is the price point.Ultimately, to be competitive, I think that BTA either needs to lower the price or step up the quality. The potential is there, but it’s not quite hitting the mark yet (for me).

in love
LOVE THESE NAILS! Don’t even look like press ons. Get so many compliments at work and my momma says they make me look mature and feminine. These don’t chip, I had them on for 1 week so far and have since then hand-washed my car and went through my daily activities (lots of water involved) and yeah— pretty good!I was hesitant on the wine red color, but the color fit perfectly against my pale skin tone. Well, in my opinion at least lol.The length of these press ons are perfect for my nails— I have been an anxious nail biter, so my nails are pretty messed up underneath it all, but these press ons cover it all up!!!BUY EM!!! THEYRE LIKE $8!!!! AND IT ONLY TOOK ME 10 MINS TO APPLY THEM!!!! THIS IS YOUR SIGN!!!!!!!!!!!

Seem to be good quality
To start off, I’m a beginner with press ons. I have been watching a lot of tik toks for tips and tricks to prep a good base so I can get the most out of my press ons. I got a small electric nail drill and I love it. It has really helped me with my cuticles and is so easy to file my nails using this vs using a nail file or buffer, highly recommend one of these!I took a pic to compare these press ons (left) to the Kiss press ons (right) in hopes to try and illustrate how much thicker these nails are. They definitely feel much sturdier than the Kiss brand! If you try and squeeze the nail they don’t bend half as easily as the other brand. I feel like I’m a little harder on my hands than the average woman. I use my hands daily for work, I sew on an industrial sewing machine, move 50lb boxes around all day, frequently use pliers & cutters for cutting metal wire and use screwdrivers for small parts. I’m constantly banging my hands around and frequently washing them so I really put them to the test. I have had these on for 5 days of work including one 6 hr day of raking and picking up leaves and so far so good!I have extremely short nail beds and I got these in the short length. Comparatively, the short length in this brand vs the Kiss brand is somewhat longer. I definitely couldn’t get away with any longer at work. I don’t feel confident enough to file press ons because I don’t want to ruin the finish or end up with them misshapen. If you are a confident shaper and length was an issue I’m sure you would be fine.I will say that these nails seemed to have a pretty decent curve to them so when I put glue on, I had to press a little harder than I would have liked to adhere to my nail. I never gave much thought to whether or not I had curved or flat nail beds. For some, this can be a hurdle in trying to get long wear out of your press ons.Application steps:-I start with cuticle work. I use my drill bit for cuticles and lightly go around them. I got a cuticle remover from Sally’s and apply this for anything I couldn’t remove with the drill. I push back cuticles and trim if necessary.-Trim nails if necessary as I don’t want to start of with long nails underneath press ons (personal preference)-Buff nail with drill bit to rough up-Apply acetone to my nail & underneath press on nail to remove any kind of grease or oil (this supposedly helps press on to stay on longer)-Apply glue to my nail as well as a little glue to press on nail (still figuring out proper amount as I’m having a bit of glue seep out the sides)-Apply nail at 45° angle (this also is supposed to help prevent nail glue seepage)*Mistake #1* Pressed waaaaay too hard on first set! Rookie mistake thinking I needed to press harder in order for it to adhere better. When in actuality I needed more glue and to just hold still for 60-90 seconds.-Rectified mistake by applying more glue and applying light pressure for longer and this seemed to work better!I’m still struggling with the perfect placement of glue to cover entire nail without causing seepage as well as getting nails on straight on my right hand!I upgraded the glue I use to the viral ‘Beauty Secrets’. For no other reason than people swear by it. I keep the glue that came with the set in my purse for in case of emergencies. All in all I’m pretty happy with this brand! I would say they look somewhat real from about a 12” away! I ordered a pair in red & burgundy and am excited to try :)

Great quality and what you see on the pictures is exactly what they look like.
These nails are beautiful and elegant. You can buy cheaper glue on nails but the quality is cheap and the nails are flimsy. In this case, you get what you pay for. I use the gel glue tabs and then brush super glue on top of them. The nails stay on for at least two weeks and are easy to remove. Lots of sizes which should fit most nails. BTArtbox forever! Way cheaper than getting your nails done in a salon!.
