I use it to play already downloaded podcasts, news-related clips, audiobooks, and long music mixes, (all MP3 format) while I’m walking my many miles each week, or just working on things around the house… And I use it every day… The positives: 1) I love that you can simply transfer MP3 files from your computer into the player, and into as many Folders as you want, without needing to use something like iTunes or something like that.. Being able to create multiple different Folders is critical here.. It’s really the only way to keep your files organized, as far as I’ve been able to find.. To cover a few of the basics, it utilizes a touch-sensitive system to go through the many options - music, video, radio, text, folders, settings etc. It takes a very light touch to use this system. The sound quality is good and it has a good FM tuner. That was important to me because those are the only functions that really interest me. The screen is good, but it only plays AMV videos that are generally of very low visual quality because of how much is stripped out during conversion, so I’ll probably not bother converting videos to watch. I did copy some pictures of family and friends, but .jpg format is not supported for some reason and so I converted them to .bmp. The REALLY BIG reason I like this player is that it supports the use of folders to hold your music. This is critically important if you want to play classical music (or any other music like sound tracks) in which the parts need to be played in a specific order. So, for instance, if you want to put Vivaldi’s Four Seasons on it you just created a folder, put the 12 numbered movements in it and you’re set to go. I generally use the ‘folder’ function to select the folder containing the music I want, click on it, and listen. It couldn’t be easier.
