Supertrapp 344-2005 3" Stainless Steel Disc-Only Muffler

Awesome little muffler to reduce the ear-piercing sound of your turbos external wastegate. While it may be an unpopular opinion, it also prevents unwanted attention when you want to send it and experience full WOT while still being able to hold a civil conversation or just enjoy the feeling of being pushed back against your seat on launch.Note: Might have to add more disks if not on stock turbo or going post stock PSI, otherwise it can cause backpressure. Unit comes with 12 disks, the most it will let you fit is about 18 so 6 extra. More disks=more open=less noise/air restriction=less backpressure. Highly recommend getting it welded to dump tube.

Bought this to help suppress the sound from my Buggy, at idle it is lowered by about 3-5 db (tested on a iphone app about 10 foot away) at mid to WOT its just as loud as without the supertrapp, after one ride, I went to take the bolt off the end to remove a few plates and the bolt that holds all the plates together snapped in half. I had high hopes that this would quite a little bit, but it did nothing and mid to high throttle.
