As soon as I received my new Hutou Whistles, I had to test them out as soon as I removed them out of its package and they are LOUD. The whistle arrives in the same package as shown in the video (sometimes the packaging is different or there is no package just plastic bags). The size and weight of the whistle is just right. I chose the color black and they have mouth guards so that makes holding the whistle in your mouth easy, you're not biting down on metal. As for the cost perfect. They are going to work out great for my job. As for the design it has the true whistle shape and the pea inside the body and it has a really nice lanyard. And the cases to store them in are really nice. These I'm keeping.

Light weight, high pitch loud sound, lanyard is a bonus.

Its a well made set of whistles that do what they say very well - a loud, clear sound. Unfortunately, it is so loud that I don't want to use it regularly for coaching because it hurts my ears. If that isn't a concern for you, these are amazing.

I bought these to referee a couple basketball tournaments after losing my primary whistle. I was very happy with the purchase. It's hard to find a quality whistle that's loud and also comes at a low price. These fit both criteria and have held up well to coaching and reffing. I'm happy to have two, one as a backup, for a price that's cheaper than you usually pay for one whistle.

All too often, I buy a whistle that is too high-pitch or takes a ton of effort to blow. Not these.These are great whistles for any ice hockey coach. They are loud as heck, even with a light blow on them. The bite piece/cover and carrying/storage case are a nice touches, too.Use a different lanyard, because these ones do NOT have a breakaway clasp on them; at least the ones that i received.
