This device is very sturdy, instructions were very clear and worked perfectly. Anyone with multiple watched should own one. Will save a lot of money on battery replacement.

Total newbie to replacing my own watch batteries here, and I got stuck with 5 watches which I pried open, replaced the batteries and couldn't, for the life of me, close. I tried all the other you-tube ideas and hacks and failed. This tool just arrived today and enabled me to successfully close all 5 watches creating that very-satisfying "pop" when four of the five back-cases closed (the fifth was especially stubborn but did close without a "pop"). I followed the instructions that came with the kit precisely to the T and it worked great - highly recommended. The vise is easy to put together and is surprisingly sturdy. Great value.

Great value, this tool works great and the instructions were super simple... match up two molds that fit your watch's face and back cover protect with included plastic wrap and crank down till it snaps closed. Knocking off a star for packaging, super flimsy plastic card that amazon thankfully double wrapped.

This kit contains everything you need to change the battery on a watch that has the snap off type of back. There are other nice kits with tools for other kinds of watch backs, so be sure you have the snap type back before ordering. There are videos online that show you how to tell what type you have. Some tools sets do not include the press, and if you have strong hands, you don't need the press, but I tried without it and couldn't get the watch back closed even pushing so have I was afraid I'd break the crystal. I strongly recommend getting the press. It worked easily. Watch batteries are much less expensive online than in stores because the stores' prices include having someone change the battery for you. If you use this kit 2 or 3 times, it will have paid for itself. The type of battery you need is sometimes printed on the back of the watch. If it isn't, you'll need to open the back to see what kind it is (the kind is written on the battery). Before you take out the old battery, look to see which side goes up and which goes down so you can put the new one in correctly.

Excellent product. I put watch batteries in all day, but as I've gotten older, putting the back back on sometimes is a pain. Thisakws it so easy & hasn't failed yet

Great little press for the weekend warrior watch efficianado! Assembly of the press is easy peasy, a few screws (Allen hex key is included) and the assortment of press cups will cover most reasonably sized watches. I went through my collection of watches needing batteries and back removal tool works great! Super easy to use and instructions are very straight forward. I enjoy doing this kind of stuff on my own and this little press makes it a snap.
