Great smart switch solution
I originally purchased three individual kasa switches and utilized them in another room in my house. The setup is extremely simple and I found the integration with Alexa was very smooth and they are my go to switches. This set has a specialty cover plate that ensures the two switches sit in perfect alignment and are flush giving a great finished product over using a conventional cover plate and having slight alignment issues with individual switches. While I don’t have an issue these switches are not a conventional on or off type switch but function as push type switches. When off the switch has an illuminated symbol showing it is ready to be operated, when on the symbol is off. I will be purchasing additional Kasa switches as I expand my smart home.

Works great with our new recessed lights! Works great with SmartThings, Alexa, Google Home
Saw a couple of reviews saying they had difficulty setting this up. And even one saying this 2 gang kit is less reliable than 1 gang...well this 2 gang kit is actually composed of two individual 1 gang units...that can be combined into a 2-gang wall plate. For us, it was easy and flawless. Perhaps key is to make sure you're attempting to connect this to 2.4ghz wifi. Some wifi routers combine all radios...2.4ghz, 5ghz, etc into the same wifi SSID. Some devices have issues connecting to combined SSID's. Do yourself a favor and configure your wifi router to use unique SSID per radio. This way, when you connect to the assigned SSID for your 2.4ghz wifi, you are guaranteed that your device(s) are attempting to connect at 2.4ghz and not 5ghz.After successful wifi connectivity, it prompted me to do a firmware update. That was successful too. I already have my Kasa app (we have other Kasa switches in the house already) linked to SmartThings, Alexa, and Google Home, so it was as easy as saying "Alexa, turn on kitchen lights" or "Hey Google, turn off dining lights". The physical dimmer buttons work great as expected...however, I have not tried using voice commands to control light dimming fuctions.

Great product
Easy to install, the app works well as advertised. Also i am able to remotely monitor my lights and turn on and off from my phone easily.

Network setup is a pain
The switch itself works great and pairs easily with Alexa. I have numerous Kasa smart switches and plugs, they all work flawlessly. The two gang switch has issues pairing. I tried multiple times with my phone and it would not pair to the switch. Read a review that said to try with a tablet so I tried that. Two gang switch paired immediately without issue. Note, you pair one and then the other. To pair the second switch I had to rejoin the TP-Link WiFi network even though I was already connected to it.

Easy to install and use
This is great in our house to time our outdoor lights above our garage. I have switch for the garage indoor lights that is not on a timer and then the second switch for the lights outside the house and timed them to go on each night. I am not an electrician but know a little bit and it took me about an hour to install however my current plugs were quite disorganized. I am sure it is much quicker to install but regardless anyone can do it with a little time. Seems to hold up well, I’ve had them for almost a year now with no issues.

Best of the best
These switches are amazing; out of all I looked at, I can't express myself enough on how easy these are to install, set up, and use.

Install tips - I've had over a dozen for 3 years, no issues.
I've installed 14 of these in my home since 2021 and never had a severe failure but before I installed any of them I put in a whole house surge protector. The other things you might want to have are Wago wire nut alternatives which make installation very easy when you have a lot of wires or you are putting in more than 2 switches in a box. I also recommend outlet spacers. The 5-way splicers from Wago are ideal when putting in 4 of these. Wire all grounds neutrals and 1 of the blacks from each switch together outside of the box. You connect the ground, neutral and supply once, then each light/fan and you are done in the box.

Pretty good but some bugs with setup
One of the two Belkin WeMo smart dimmer switches I was using for years decided to go crazy and quit (flashing red and turning the lights on and off in rapid succession) so I decided to replace them both with this.It wasn't fun working in the tight space with rigid wiring but I got it done and I think the end result looks pretty good.I did have some setup issues trying to set it up on my Android phone. First, the setup asked me a weird questions about Bluetooth or Wi-Fi and to choose the setup method that was on the package but there wasn't any setup method specifically mentioned on the package so I figured it's probably Wi-Fi but it didn't work at first so then I tried Bluetooth which didn't work either.I think the Wi-Fi method failed because my phone doesn't like to connect to any Wi-Fi network that doesn't have Internet so I had to manually connect to the temporary Wi-Fi network and tell Android I still wanted to be connected to that network even though it didn't have Internet access. Anyway, after that mess was sorted out the app went into some strange firmware update loop and dimmer setting loop. I had to dump out of the app to get out of the loop.So minus 1 star because the setup and app need some debugging and fine tuning because software setup was harder and more time consuming than it should have been... such is life with all the tech bugs these days. It's great when it works right, but it's rare when everything works the way it's suppose to the first time.
