Strange Shape
I was hoping that these would fit in a deep draw with a couple of hanging rails in the top, but they are simply too deep to fit them in. Although they look like they are too short to accommodate A4 paper, they are able to do so, but they don't sit in the draw. I therefore think that the claim they are for high density storage is a little bit misleading. You need a very tall cupboard with deep hangers. They are a strange shape.Having said that, they are well made, the plastic inserts clip well onto the ends of the file, but look designed for pulling the file out, when in fact they need to be lifted off the rail. All in all it doesn't seem well thought through and I can't recommend it.

Expensive and oddly sized but probably one of the best filing cabinet solutions available
Twenty years ago, I remember my dad using a product which was very similar to these Rexel Crystalfiles, for storing invoices and other paperwork for his business. However, with the massive increase in the use of computers, I would have thought that the demand for products such as this must have massively reduced - certainly, my dad no longer uses filing cabinets and the majority of his records are now stored electronically. Having said that, whether there is or isn't demand for this product is somewhat irrelevant, given that this is a review of the Crystalfile itself and not of the market which it is aimed at.This particular product is a box of 50 Crystalfiles, with the dimensions being 31.0xm (width) by 26.0cm (height). Based on my recollection of these files, the particular dimensions of this product are somewhat unusual, given that whilst A4 sheets of paper can be stored in landscape format (but not portrait), there is a section cut out of the side of the files, meaning than in landscape format, a section of the page will be unprotected. Given this is not an issue with other similar products such as item number B000I6NUBM - copy and paste this into the Amazon search box), perhaps this would be a more ideal product, even if the paper does need to be stored in portrait format? You will also need to check that the width of the files is not less than the width of your filing cabinet as these files are definitely narrower than my early recollection (from 20 years ago). The capacity of this particular product is also pretty decent and it is claimed that each file can store up to 150 pages. I suspect that this claim might be slightly optimistic, particularly if using paper which is 80g/sm or higher however, they will easily store 100-125 pages. It might sound like this volume of paper would be too heavy to be adequately supported by a cardboard file however, they are pretty robust and unless you are very rough with the files, I can't imagine the contents falling out the bottom of the file.Included with each product is a set of plastic tabs and paper inserts for clearly identifying the contents of each file. Unusually, the plastic tabs attach to the vertical side of the file, rather than the horizontal (top) side, making it slightly harder to scan your eye over each tab when skimming for the appropriate file. The final aspect which I would comment on is probably the one which has the most relevance for the majority of people and that is the price. The RRP of this product is stated as being £152.90, which works out at over £3 per file. I appreciate that Amazon are currently selling the files at a significant discount but even so, I would still consider this to be an expensive (premium) product. Only you can decide if it is worth the cost!

Sturdy and strong, therefore durable! Very durable!
The media could not be loaded. I’m remodelling my office and not that long ago, I purchased some filing cabinets that came with cheap inserts/ filling system. Cheap becomes expensive and they’re now suffering and asking for a change.I wasn’t going to make the mistake of buying cheap quality ones and having to change them again, so I choose this ones (and a few others from the same manufacturer).Pros✅ Pack of 50✅ 50 lateral identification tabs + inserts includedI have to say the inserts are made of strong card and tabs of hard plastic!Once these tabs are inserted... They don’t come off. It’s so annoying when they do!So I’m very grateful for this!✅ Large 300 sheets capacityCould take more, but let’s keep it within that range approximately✅ Steel runnersIdeal for durabilityMust knowsThe width between runners is 27.5cmThere’s no cons and all pros with this pack!Highly recommended!

Too expensive.
In my opinion, not the best product to buy.Yes, it's made from strong material, are durable and recyclable, saving space, but it's expensive, and you must have / buy a separate cabinet for it.I guess it's perfect for office use, but if you work at home... I think not everyone would be able to replace their old cabinets to use these ones, it would be just a waste of money. There are plenty of cheaper options to store your documents.

Good set of files
I found an old filing cabinet in my loft and decided to use it for keeping important documents in.The files are good value and good quality, they can hold a lot of paper per file and feel rigid and strong. There is nothing exceptional about these files apart from you get what you pay for!

Made with Recycled Manilla
The good points on these files is that the files are made to resemble Manilla and are really quite tough. Best you can get apart from polypropylene which will outlast all the other kind of files. They are a V shape meaning they can hold 150 sheets of 80 gsm paper. The not so good point is that the width is narrow and I don’t understand what kind of Filing Cabinet they will fit into.Certainly not my home one. Much too narrow. The Label tabs are on the side not the top of each folder.Nice robust folders though.
