Not for me
I have had and enjoyed red dates before, but never dehydrated and dried like these. They are very crunchy, almost a bit too crunchy if you have sensitive teeth. And the flavor just seemed off, not something we really enjoyed right out of the bag. I might try rehydrating some and using them in other recipes But as far as snacking right out of the bag goes, this was not a hit with anyone in our family.

Great thing to infuse with
Got these to infuse my tea and water. They offer a touch of sweetness naturally without having to add sugar or other sugars that may be harmful. I think they will be good for flavor when paired with other ingredients.

Tastes not good
It is well packaged and seems healthy (1 serving is the whole 8.8oz bag), but it tastes gross. If you know these are something you like, go for it otherwise, I'd stay clear.I had multiple friends & family try one to see if maybe it was simply not to my taste, but they all had worse reactions than me (making faces, spitting it out, etc.).The texture was fine, though different from other freeze-dried goods I've tried (bananas, mangos, apples, etc.)

Nice for Snacking or Adding to Yogurt
These are great to snack on, but they also work added to yogurt. They are a little crunchy but also soft in a very satisfying way that's nice to chew on. I want to try them in a banana bread recipe because I think that would be amazing. The MSRP is slightly expensive at 12.99 (at time of review) , but there's a lot in the bag. Dried fruits are often expensive, so they aren't necessarily overpriced, but it is more than I usually would pay for this kind of thing.

Meh
These were cut into small slices and then dried - the slices are on the thicker side though, so you can't just bit through the pieces. Personally, I think they taste kind of like cardboard while they sit in your mouth for a minute until you are finally able to chew them. The flavor is okay once you are able to chew them, but not my favorite.

Easy to use
These dried red dates are tasty on its own as a snack or added to soup. Love how convenient it is to use.

No flavor, very bland
I love dates, so I was very surprised as to how meh these jujube dried red dates tasted. They were extremely bland, like eating dry cheerios or cardboard. My kids were also unimpressed. Most of the bag ended up in the compost bin.
