With 16 liters of room for cargo, this high-capacity pack is perfect for extra-long runs, fast-packing, and long days where you’re switching between different activities on the trail. Loading up for a multisport adventure? Unzip the back of the pack, and it will expand to offer even more cargo space. We’ve also updated the Octane with more storage on the front of the pack, so you can grab snacks, maps and other gear without breaking your stride. There are two stretch pockets on the front of the harness, along with two more secure zippered pockets on the waistbelt.

Great for carrying water, not so good for anything else
Bought this for a ride across the South Downs Way on what turned out to be the hottest day of the year so far.The water reservoir part of this is excellent - great flow, drip free, devoid of any weird tastes you get from cheaper branded 'equivalents', and remarkably somehow remains cool even when basically pressed up against my back on a very warm day.Unfortunately however, while the bag is capable of carrying up to 16 litres of other stuff you need for your ride, I wouldn't recommend it owing to the straps being so badly designed and uncomfortable they cut into your arms and shoulders when the bag is moderately loaded. The straps are meshed in the middle, presumably for airflow, but the edges are firm meaning it is these that dig in rendering the meshed middles virtually useless. This is a real shame as I thought this would be a genuinely useful bag for longer rides and the commute but wouldn't use it now for anything more than a couple of lightweight items plus the water

This bag is great.Lots of pockets and love the idea that the fluid is separate to everything else.It is quite a large bag though and probably suited to a man.I will need to look at something smaller for me as a small woman

Fantastic product
I used this for the three peaks it was great lots of little pockets for the things that I needed to carry with me the bladder is so easy to use very very impressed So very comfortable to wear hardly knew I had it on even with the weight of the bladder pack it was perfect

Definitely buy!
Very comfy backpack. I have been using this for long runs training for a marathon. The swishing of water is annoying but there’s no way around that for any brand. absolutely awesome pack, would certainly reccomend. Very comfy

Great Runnijg Vest
This is a very comfortable vest which I’ve now worn on a number of long runs. I’ve not had any issues with the best which provides plenty of storage space.

Very comfortable on the back
I brought this bag for a trial marathon. It fitted everything in I needed + camel but not enough pockets on the front for water bottle ! Very comfortable on the back, didn't rub or move around.will differently be using again

Good but sharp straps
Does what it says. Load it up too heavy and the straps will dig in a bit.
