This is my "go to" tape. I use it for so many things including to replace the use of nails. It states on the packaging the weight limit for the tape and there are various weights for the tape. I have hung canvas pictures, wood trim, thick lace trim and many other decor items around the house. It has never damage any item that I had removed. It has definitely been an awesome tape for me.

3M remains the industry standard for mounting tape. We purchased this because it was the only mounting tape approved by my daughter's dorm at college. I was afraid it wouldn't be sticky enough (I usually use Gorilla brand), but after hanging a heavy(ish) bulletin board with just this tape, I was reminded that this stuff is made to work. I assume it is also recommended by the dorm because it does not leave residue (Gorilla does leave an oily residue after a while) or take off paint. I recommend using long strips along the edges of heavier items or, if you're afraid of running out of tape, use a long strip on each corner.

As a teacher, I can say that this stuff is GOLD. It never falls down but is tricky to remove when you don't want something on the wall anymore. The trick is to use a hair dryer. We use this to mount things to project boards—it really makes things “pop”. I only wish I had remembered to get the thicker version, but double stacking it worked perfectly. I highly recommend for students, teachers and those wanting something that holds to painted cinder brick school/dorm walls.

This is a good double sided tape. I think it can be used in many ways.

This works great! I bought a white board to hang on my pantry door and used the sticky strips it came with. The board fell off the same day. This double sided foam tape did the trick!

This 3M double-sided tape really works well. If you want to stick something to the wall or anywhere for that matter this will hold it and will not want to let go, ever. It's kind of a pain to get off but if you use a hair dryer and warm it up just a little bit, it'll be all right off. Huge roll too, I got this months ago and I still have about half of it left. You can cut it to size which is nice as well. Good job 3M!

I like the thickness of this tape. It's so much easier to put a strip of this on something you want to pop up rather than using many little pop dots.
