Great little wedge!
This little wedge is ideal. I hand split 10 - 15 cord per year. When you get that @%&^$@ piece that won't split with my 6LB. maul, I use a wedge. This Estwing wedge saves my wifes ears a lot of abuse. This works just fine on the hard and twisted stuff.

Superior wedges
Split a chord of hardwood so far and barely a blemish on these wedges. Perfect size, weight, and proportions.

These really are excellent wedges, the best I've seen although I don't really get how a 2pck at 39..99 is saving you money over the individual unit price of 17.30. 17.30x2 = 34.60$, no? So I would not buy the 2 pack, you'll pay more, just buy the individual wedges
