Nice portable neck massager
I like that this massager is portable so you can pretty much take it anywhere. Easy to charge and holds the charge for a good while. It would be nice if it had more uses than just the neck, but it does a good job on that one area.

Firm massage pressure
Neck massager by Forthiq, made in China. Arrives nicely boxed. Includes the unit, a plug and usb charging cord and instruction booklet. The outer cover in a wipe clean vinyl and the inside a stretchy soft nylon fabric. You first have to fully charge before using and charge monthly to upkeep the battery. A few bold instructions regarding battery care. Two intensity settings, a heat setting, easy to operate. It weighs heavier than I expected and feels like a well made unit. Obviously there is a noise to the mechanism working but it is quiet. There does not seem to be an adjustment for size re: different sized necks. I would think that may be an issue if you have a thick neck. In my house we are two females with smaller necks. Myself and my daughter used it and she found it to be uncomfortable and pinching. I did not find it pinching but I did not find it relaxing either. It is a firm massage pressure action. The two settings are for constant massage or intermittent where it goes into a pulsing massage, maybe that is the shiatsu action. I find this more therapy, working to get knots out rather than soothing. It is a nice enough machine and does exactly what it says, but not a great match for us.

Least Effective Massager
This is by far the most useless massager i've used. It doesn't massage anything, it just pinches the outer layer of my skin. Even if I press it against my shoulders it can't even make contact.

10/10 for tech neck or stress neck!
Wow. I have a new baby and have returned to work. Stress and sleeping weird and carrying/holding baby and ALL the things that make your neck and shoulders cramp like crazy. I’ve begged many shoulder massages off of my husband, but I needed them more often (and better 🤫) THIS THING DELIVERS! Don’t hesitate, it is worth every penny. It works so well so quickly that if I feel my shoulders getting tight I throw it on for a few minutes, get relief and carry on. Not only is it far stronger and pinpointed than my husband but I can adjust the pressure. It’s the best. Don’t miss out. My life is changed 🤩

Limitations
This neck massager will massage the same area very nice, but that's it, it is for only one area of the neck. The added heat can be relaxing too. It does feel like fingers massaging the back of the neck, but moving out to the shoulders it is limited. This could be of help for those who get tension headaches.

Good squeezing effect, I like it
This is a new system I hadn't seen before! I like it!The usual mechanism I've seen in other massagers is these knuckle-like ball-protrusions mounted on a rotating wheel; the knuckle-like things knead your muscles by moving across them. Not bad, but doesn't do any squeezing: this one does. This one has these two marshmallow-like things on each side mounted on some kind of bracket that rotates in two planes (on its axis and sideways) to squeeze from each side of the neck,as well as another pair of rounded brackets that moves up and down to squeeze your shoulder muscles from below.Pretty sophisticated motion. This feels very different, and in a good way. It's pretty intense, but rather effective.I'm really glad to discover a new type of mechanism. To keep it pressed against the neck, there's a strap that pulls from the front, goes under your arms and ties in the back. It's elastic, so it keeps tension without feeling constricting.Length is adjustable, though the elasticity also helps there too.The moving parts in contact with the skin are covered by this soft, non-abrasive, stretchy fabric. There are also straps you can use to hang your armsThis is intended to serve two purposes: add the weight of your arms as pressure against the muscles, while allowing the shoulder muscles to loosen. Here however is one weakness of this squeezing mechanism: it can jam if there's too much pressure. With the weight of my arms plus pressure on the machine from resting against a chair back, the motors run out of power and can't quite complete the squeezing motion.(I think the limit is with the power from the battery maxing out when the motors stall, as opposed to mechanical components giving out.)But there's always some maximum, this one isn't too weak, I think it's fair. The heating function does produce some heat but not a huge amountThere's only so much it can do with a 2500mAh battery. The heating portion is the flat part sitting on the back of the neck, so it doesn't do much for the shoulder muscles, and it's not as powerful as a heating pad.Still, it does help to relax the muscles at the back of the neck.In other respects, it's similar to other massagers. There are buttons to choose between two speeds, two modes (continuous vs jerky) and 3 temperatures. The options don't make too much difference to me and I'm happy enough with the defaults. There is no reverse motion mode on this one, I guess it wouldn't make sense.Like on other machines, the motion is regular and does eventually become somewhat repetitiveBut I still like it.Compared to other massagers, I seem to use this one for a shorter period, as it eventually makes my muscles sensitive. But it seems to have a quick and more pronounced effect. So far I've used it in quick bursts of a couple minutes rather than for long periods, and I'm OK with that. This is cordless (rechargeable) (The mention of "Corded Electric" is a mistake.)The Amazon description also needs a bit of work: e.g. "Whether you need a neck massage, neck massagers, or a massage neck, our product delivers exceptional results."(It also seems to refer to other product alternatives that I don't seem to find.)The instruction sheet also doesn't make it entirely obvious how to wear this thing: the video on the Amazon page was a clue.If you're looking for a machine to reproduce the feeling of someone strongly squeezing your shoulder muscles, this is the best I've seen. And it's cordless, which is so much more convenient. It did provide some effective relief, worked for me.I had two other people in my household try it, and both appreciated it.

Neck pain relief
I've been using this neck and back massager, and it's been fantastic. It really helps with muscle tension and has adjustable settings for a more customised experience. The heat function is a nice touch, and the hands-free strap makes it easy to use while doing other things. It's a great tool for relaxing after a long day.
