PRISMXR Charging Dock Compatible with Meta Quest 3 Accessories Fast Charging Station for Oculus Quest 3 and Controllers with 2 Rechargeable Batteries (Carina D1)

I bought this in July. In January one of the controllers stopped charging. I wasn't even going to leave a review but though it might be important to know. I have not contacted the manufacturer because I'm in Rwanda and I am sure they will not replace the battery. FYI. For 6 months it worked fine.I received a message from PRISMXR offering a replacement battery but unfortunately where i live shipping would be an issue also batteries by themselves is not permitted for shipping. So PRISMXR gave me a full refund! I never expected help, let alone a full refund! needless to say I am very pleased with their customer service. They where more diligent in correcting the issue than I was. I assumed in this day and age customer serves was dead and buried. I was very wrong. This is why I am changing my review of not just the product, but the company that backs it. If I was still in the States I would have gotten the replacement. I do recommend the charging dock. I like the way it looks and when it worked it worked well. If you are a crafty person i would recommend making a dust cover for it.

Tentatively a 5/5. I love the design, and the device does exactly what it sets out to do. There is only one small nitpick, and that is that, at first, it wouldn't charge the headset. I tried several troubleshooting steps, and the one that worked was unplugging the base/stand from the included charger, plugging the included charger directly into the headset, and then plugging the charger back into the base/stand. When I did that, the warning lights stopped flashing, and the device charged. I do not know if it was important to plug the cable into the Quest 3 for this step or not (I did it just to ensure the Quest was able to charge, and that the included charger wasn't faulty), but if you find yourself in a similar situation, try that and see if it works for you.All of that being said, the device is great so far. If that changes, I'll update my review, but I'm hoping it was just a hiccup.

Much better quality then other cheap charging docks.I had a different brand with a flat rectangular shape that all the individual pieces sat in to charge. However, the quest itself never nested very well, partly because I had that dock inside a cabinet drawer for security. As a result, sometimes I would go to use my Quest 3 and would only be partially charged, despite the charging light blinking initially.With the magnetic charging connection, this unit is much more secure when docked, and didn't take much more space despite the layout being more front/back rather than having all devices laid out in a row. There's also a button on one side of the dock for enabling/disabling the charging LEDs...Very thoughtful and nice addition!Comes with the dock, the magnetic charging connector (2 actually, with plastic placement guide), 2 AA rechargeable batteries for the controllers and charging palm covers. Also included, is an AC adapter, USB-C cable and an extension for resting an aftermarket strapWould definitely recommend, especially when on sale.

Customer service contacted me and discussed some of my 'cons'. They had some suggestions for making it better and sent controller grips. They worked out great! Awesome customer service and a company worth buying from.My biggest disappointment is there’s no power button. So if it’s done charging, I have to unplug it. The whole point of a docking system is to not mess with cords. Plus, It plugs in the back in an awkward way to reach. Had I known this, I would have looked for something different.For me, it’s not the ‘drop and go’ like it claims. I have to mess around with it a lot to get the headset to connect. Once it’s finally connected right, it does stay connected and charges quickly.It looks ok and doesn’t take up too much space.

This is a wonderful Quest 3 dock. I really appreciate all of the design elements. I previously had received a cheaper Nexigo quest 3 dock as a gift, I was having trouble with it right away. I believe the extent of my trouble is that it wasn't really designed for quest 3 owners with the additional battery (in my case the Meta Quest Elite Strap with Battery). But on top of that, its a super slow charger. I read it was difficult to line up, but I was willing to deal with that (I did end up being frustrated with that too). On top of the design flaws it sometimes would just sit there any never charge my controller fully (it would remain amber).This dock is incredible in every way over that style of dock. First it takes up less space on my desk. It has magnets!!! The connections just work. There are indicator lights that I really like. I am super pleased with my dock purchase. Who knew two docks could perform so drastically different.

Awesome product and small footprint Amazing customer support. So small next to the quest 2 dock. Have had an issue with a magnet where the glue gave away and they shipped out a replacment immediately. Had an issue after 10 months where the controller battery lid broke and they are shipping a new one out. I have had this 10 months and have had no issues besides the two and those were promplty fixed. I got this right after launch and could not be happier with it and their customer service. I'm glad I waited for a 3rd party dock as the stokc meta Dock is huge like my Quest2 dock and costs twice as much. This works with my aftermarket Headstrap and charger as well. Look at the size comparison, Also none of the issues I have had has prevented me from playing.
