Too hard
To the furniture painters ...Unfortunately the rubber is way too hard and it will take your paint or glaze right back off to the original wood. I even tried an internet idea to mix rubbing alcohol and Wintergreen essential oils soaking for 24 hours to soften the material. Save your money this does not work. It might work good if you were working with a thicker material like plaster.
