this wire generates too much heat connect through outlet.I was so scared it might catch fire one day.beware

This is no good. Stick with the factory wyze cable and buy an extension cord instead. If using outside just buy a waterproof case for where your extension cord and the stock cord connect. I went through so many headaches and up and down onto my roof just to figure out it was this disappointing cable.

I tried to run wire harness for my camera but once I got it all together it didn't work tried smaller cord works great

I recently received this 50' cord for a Wyze camera and I am very happy with it. Having a cord this length allows for much more versatility when it comes to camera placement.The wire is similar in make and size to the original power cord that comes with your camera. It is flat and seems durable. I did not notice any defects.It also includes some wire holders if you want to mount the wire against some framing like a wood post or facia.Overall it does what it is supposed to do and is appears to be a good value. 5 Stars!Thank you and I hope this was helpful.

This cable fits perfectly into the camera and made it possible for me to power the camera from the other end of my shed since outlets are in short supply in the old building. Works great, is a good value and I recommend it.

Probé por una semana una cámara Wyze Cam Pan v3 con unos cables más cortos que este (30 pies / 9 metros), y de manera ocasional, la cámara perdía conectividad con la nube, lo cual solo lo solucionaba desconectando la alimentación y conectarla nuevamente. Luego probé con este cable más largo (50 pies / 15 metros), y la falla fue mucho más frecuente. Finalmente la solución fue regresar al cable original corto, colocando al adaptador DC en una caja impermeable, y ya no hubo fallas en conectividad.Es buena la idea de simplificar la instalación mediante un cable de alimentación de DC largo, pero en la vida real puede traer problemas, como me sucedió a mí…
